The original 3-speed manual transmission has been upgraded to a new Muncie M21 4-speed , providing improved performance and driving enjoyment while maintaining the car's classic character. The rear differential is believed to be original to the car. This Chevelle underwent an exceptional, no-expense-spared frame-off restoration , completed in 2017 after a meticulous two-year process. Every effort was made to preserve and restore the car's original components, with NOS (New Old Stock) parts used whenever replacement was necessary .
