Seller's Comments

INTRODUCTION: This is undeniably the Top Banana! A car that commands attention, respect, and admiration everywhere it goes. Restored with the body mounted on a rotisserie, it was brought back to its original factory configuration with the perfect touch of muscle car attitude added in the form of chrome wheels and a legendary six-pack carb setup. Under the hood is its original VIN-matching 440 Magnum engine paired to its matching transmission, and it still proudly retains its original fender tag. EXTERIOR: This Top Banana is very ''appealing''! The body was stripped down to a bare shell, mounted on a rotisserie, and restored from every angle with no detail overlooked. The body is clean, straight, and fits exceptionally well throughout. Refinished in its original FY1 Top Banana color, the paint has a smooth, glossy finish that practically glows in the sunlight. The look is pure muscle car attitude with the black bumblebee stripe across the tail, optional hood stripes and racing pins, sport mirrors, and the iconic R/T scoops built into the doors. The chrome and trim have either been restored or replaced, giving the car a crisp, fresh appearance everywhere you look. The black vinyl top still looks brand new and provides the perfect contrast to the vibrant yellow paint. Completing the stance is a set of 17 inch chrome wheels wrapped in performance tires, adding just the right amount of modern flair without taking away from the car's classic character. INTERIOR: The interior was completely gutted right down to a bare shell. Down on the floor is fresh, nicely fitted carpet with embroidered R/T mats. The seats have been recushioned and upholstered, and the door panels, armrests, handles, and window cranks all present like new. The woodgrain instrument panel is beautiful, complemented by an excellent dash pad and lower dash trim. The center console has been restored as well, tying the interior together perfectly. Above you'll find a fresh headliner, visors, rearview mirror, and a working dome light. It's complete with its original seat belts too. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This engine compartment has a lot to offer. At its heart is the original #s matching 440 Magnum engine, upgraded with a strong performance build. It's topped with a smoothed and polished aluminum intake carrying the legendary Six-Pack carb setup, dressed with a chrome air cleaner and matching valve covers. Coated TTI headers help this big block breathe and perform. The front of the engine is detailed with a March billet bracket and serpentine pulley system, along with a polished Powermaster alternator and chrome power steering unit. It also features power brakes, helping tame this beast while making it far more enjoyable to drive. The entire compartment is completely finished off with great attention to detail. The plug wires are run neatly, the firewall components have been restored, and even the windshield squirters are hooked up. It has a reproduction Mopar battery that's properly secured, and the cooling system has been restored as well. The engine bay itself was carefully prepped and painted Top Banana yellow for a clean, show quality presentation. Even the hidden VIN on the core support matches the car, and the original fender tag remains attached. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is just as impressive as the rest of the car. It's clean, solid, and completely finished in glossy Top Banana paint, including under the deck lid and inside. Everything has a crisp, detailed appearance with a reproduction sticker, fresh weatherstrip, and a neatly fitted trunk mat. It's even complete with the proper jack assembly and spare tire, showing the level of care that went into this restoration. UNDERSIDE: The underside is as impressive as the top side. The body was stripped to a bare shell and mounted on a rotisserie, revealing a completely rock solid structure with clean metal floors, solid rockers, and excellent frame rails. The entire underside was prepped and painted in its striking
