1974 Maserati Bora 4.9 Black/Black California Car with Matching Numbers
This 1974 Maserati 4.9 Bora is an attractive matching numbers example out of California. Black with black leather. It requires mechanical recommissioning at this time as it's been sitting in storage for several years as part of a museum collection and is not running. The motor is currently seized and not turning. However, it's a very clean, solid, and straight car cosmetically with nice paint, chrome and interior.
This Bora represents a rare chance to acquire one of the most revered Italian supercars of the 1970s. Its rarity, striking color scheme, and desirable 4.9-liter specification make for quite the exciting opportunity for its next lucky owner. Between 1971 and 1978, Maserati produced just 564 Boras, of which approximately 275 were equipped with the company?s mighty 4.9-liter four-cam V-8 engine. With 300 hp available, the 4.9-liter Bora was one of the fastest production automobiles of its era, claiming a top speed in excess of 170 mph.
