1986 Porsche 911 Carrera M491 Coupe ⢠VIN WP0AB0917GS122XXX ⢠Completed in July of 1986 ⢠G Program - Produced from August 1985 to July 1986 ⢠1 of 75 Factory M491 Coupes Produced in 1986 for the USA Ultra-desirable, Turbo-Look Widebody, finished in its factory color combination of Guards Red (G1G1) over a Black full leather interior. Options from the factory included U.S. Emission, AM/FM Blaupunkt Monterey Radio, Limited Slip Differential, Turbo Look, and Electric Sliding Sunroof. The all-original paint is in beautiful condition with excellent gaps and original glass. The Black leather interior is original with a perfect dash, VDM Porsche steering wheel, VDO instrumentation, and a Blaupunkt Monterey SQR 23 Radio. Equipped with staggered 16â Turbo Fuchs rims with Bridgestone Potenza 205/55 16 front and 245/55 16 back tires. The undercarriage is all original with no rust. Originally sold to the first owner, Mr. Summers, on August 22, 1986, by Porsche Overland Park in Kansas. In accordance with the original Warranty & Maintenance booklet, all scheduled services were documented until 2004, when the Carrera had accrued over 35,000 miles. In 2004, Mr. McBride had the vehicle shipped from Texas to Washington, where it remained for the next 10 years. Under McBrideâs ownership, services were largely performed at Akerâs Porsche Repair Shop in Seattle, Washington. In 2014, McBride consigned his Wide Body Carrera to Park Place Ltd., where it was purchased by Mr. Palhegyi, a resident of San Diego County. Mr. Palhegyi owned the vehicle for about a year before it was purchased by the previous owner. At 71,806 miles, Porsche of San Diego performed a full service, including an oil and filter change, tire balancing, and a Porsche inspection. European Collectibles has sold this 911 M491 twice since then, and service was just completed.
