Of course, the rest of the car was also revised, with the interior bringing previously optional equipment such as air conditioning and power windows as standard equipment in the US. While the 928 remained the companys de-facto grand tourer, these updates lent a more polished feel something American enthusiasts were clamoring for. Unsurprisingly, the new model was an instant hit.
