Seller's Comments
The Silver Anniversary Edition was Ford's way of marking 25 years of Bronco production, and it was only ever offered for one model year. Fewer than 3,000 were built, every single one finished in Currant Red with grey leather, making this one of the most specific and identifiable special editions in Bronco history. This example has been properly gone through with the body repainted, the exterior refreshed, and the engine serviced and repaired as needed, with only 1,000 miles put on since the work was completed. It presents in clean condition and drives the way a well-sorted Bronco should. Under the hood is the 5.0 liter V8 backed by the four speed automatic with four-wheel drive. Ford fitted the 1991 Bronco with the heavy-duty E40D transmission, the strongest automatic the Bronco ever received, and paired it with shift-on-the-fly electronic Touch Drive four-wheel drive that engages without stopping the vehicle. The 5.0 pulls with the steady, confident character that made it one of the most trusted truck engines of the era. Inside, the grey leather interior is clean with a wood-trimmed dash that carries the XLT-based Silver Anniversary specification through the cabin. The grey leather was not just a Silver Anniversary detail, it was the first time leather had ever been offered in a production Bronco, which gives the interior a significance that goes beyond the trim package. The full-size Bronco ended production after 1996, and the original has only grown in desirability in the years since the new Bronco arrived. A Silver Anniversary Edition in this condition, freshly gone through with low miles on the refurbishment, is exactly the configuration that Bronco buyers who know their history are actively looking for.
