1993 Cadillac Allante

Finished in striking Euro Red (47) over a Neutral Beige leather interior with black soft top, this is the best kept example we have come across when it comes to Allantes. Equipped with a 4.6 Liter Northstar V8 backed up by a 4T80-E transmission this Pininfarina penned Caddy boasted 295 horsepower and a zero to sixty time in the low six seconds. Out of only 4,670 Allantes built for production in 1993 which is the final year, only 640 Euro Red examples were constructed between the US and Pininfarina in Italy. The cost of these cars were so astronomical for the time because these bodies by Pininfarina were sent by airplane to the US for final assembly known as air bridge production or otherwise known as the world's longest assembly line (4,600 miles)! The cost in 1993 was in excess of $60k which adjusted for inflation equates to $130,000 in today's money. The final year cars were fitted with the desirable 32 Valve Northstar that was not only reliable but was powerful as well. This thoughtfully preserved specimen shows very well and drives like a dream. The Allante has had collector ownership and storage and aside from a few minor age related cosmetic imperfections is near flawless.The underside is also clean with a nice start up and idle, good power, shifting and braking.
