Seller's Comments

Dodge introduced the 2006 Viper SRT-10 coupe at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit and then skipped the 2007 model year entirely to prepare for the next generation, meaning 2006 was the final year of this body style. This example is number 57 out of 200 units built in the First Edition configuration, finished in Viper GTS Blue Pearl with white stripes, one of the most iconic color combinations in Viper history and a direct reference to the original GTS that dominated Le Mans in the late 1990s. A car with a documented build number in such a limited production run occupies a specific and irreplaceable place in the Viper record. The 8.3L V10 produces 500 horsepower and 525 pound-feet of torque in stock form, backed by the six-speed Tremec manual transmission. This one has been built further with 3 inch Belanger Racing exhaust, ceramic wrapped headers, and a K&N kit, all three of which extract more airflow and more sound from an engine that already announces itself before you can see the car. It hits 60 miles per hour in under four seconds and has a top speed near 190 miles per hour. Red calipers behind the 19-inch chrome five-spoke wheels and Michelin ZP run-flat tires complete the exterior specification. Inside, the black leather cabin with blue stitching ties the color theme from the exterior directly into the cockpit. The Viper's interior was never the primary reason people bought one, but the 2006 generation represented a meaningful step forward from earlier cars in terms of livability and finish, the blue stitching on a GTS Blue car shows someone paid attention when this one was ordered. The First Edition designation, the documented build number, the GTS Blue with white stripes, and the exhaust and intake upgrades combine into a package that is specific, documented, and not being recreated. Viper values have been moving steadily as collectors recognize that the window for finding well-kept examples with significant build numbers is shrinking every year.
