Porsche released the 997-generation 911 for 2005 with a more powerful engine than the outgoing model, oval headlights, and a redesigned interior. Engineers made the front and rear tracks wider for better stability, and interior designers paid more attention to the build quality. The end result was a more refined 911 that nonetheless remained true to its roots.
Power comes from a 3.8-liter flat-6, rated at 355 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission
