2008 Porsche Cayenne GTS (985)* 405 HP 4.8L DOHC 32V V8 Engine 6-Speed Tiptronic S Transmission, AWD VIN: WP1AD29P18LA72287 113, 202 miles The fun-to-drive SUV may be an oxymoron, but Porsche has gotten one step closer to proving the concept with the GTS version of its Cayenne sport-ute. The $70,095 GTS gets the goodies, such as a sport-tuned adjustable suspension that features a one-inch-lower ride height, stickier tires, a shorter final-drive ratio (4.10:1 versus 3.55:1), and a larger intake manifold that boosts the V-8s output 20 horses to 405. The GTS does offer a wide array of capabilitiesit can tow more than 7700 poundsand has steering and brake feel that one expects in a sports sedan. - Larry Webster, Car and Driver magazine, updated: Jul 22, 2008 Finished in Meteor Gray Metallic with a black leather and Alcantara interior, this Cayenne has adjustable air suspension (offering both a terrific, supple, well-controlled ride in the comfort setting and a fair amount of precision in the sport setting). In addition to its many standard GTS features, options include heated seats and steering wheel, lockable OEM roof rack system, panoramic sunroof and trailer hitch. It will accelerate from 0-60 mph in 5 seconds, with a top speed of 157 mph. This GTS has been well maintained, with regular service and maintenance as required, by both the Porsche dealer and an independent shop with a former Porsche technician. The air suspension and cooling systems were both redone in 2025 and a new battery installed in 2024. Included are 2 sets of wheels (all Porsche OEM): 21 in. with Continental Sport Contact summer tires (on vehicle), new in2021; 18 in. winter wheels with older Continental Winter Contact tires; two key fobs, all books and service records since 2019. ¬¬ Disclosures: the infotainment unit does not function. There is a crack in the passenger side windshield that hasnt changed/grown. The Carfax report (available on request) shows Minor Damage in 2024, was due to an incident of slipping on ice into a curb, damaging a front wheel and some suspension components all replaced by the nearby Porsche dealer, and with no other damage to the car.
