2013 Toyota Corolla

Everyone wants to save money on gas and maintenance, which is one reason that Toyotas are so popular. For decades, the go to brand for inexpensive, reliable transportation has born the signature loopy T emblem of Toyota on the front, and people understand that in order to get something so fuel efficient and budget friendly you give up certain things like performance and style. Except nobody told Toyota. Most cars around this time came out looking like humps, lumps, and bugs, and Toyota kept the classy sedan lines from earlier generations while smoothing things out a little bit to add aerodynamic efficiency, making this one of the sportier looking compact sedans from the era. This car only has a 1.8L naturally aspirated four cylinder engine in it, but this thing has pep to it. Power even. When you want to go, it gets up and runs. Granted, the Toyota Corolla was one of the lightest vehicles in its class back in 2013, so the smaller engine didn't have as much to carry, but it still outperforms similarly sized vehicles with larger engines in my experience. On top of that, this car should still be getting about 34mpg on the highway and 26mpg in the city. The crash test rating is Good, and the Carfax is too with 26 service history records available. The gray color of both the interior and exterior is easy to keep clean and has aged exceptionally well for its age and miles.
