If you haven't driven a Mazda, you should. Just like Hondas, Toyotas, and Subarus, Mazda is a Japanese brand that is as reliable as it is efficient. The main difference between Mazda and the other brands I mentioned is that Mazda wants their cars to be FUN. They put a lot more effort into things like stability and race-style suspension tuning, giving the base Mazda vehicle a more sporty feel that really connects you to the road! The reviews and accolades for the SKYACTIV technology suite they introduced to give their cars a fully different feel from their competitors has withstood the test of time exceptionally well, and I highly recommend researching it if you're in the market for a Japanese compact car. Part of that research should include personally inspecting and even driving a Mazda, so let us know if you're interested. This specific Mazda3 is a compact sedan, touring trim level (the highest and fanciest trim), and is a CarFax 1 Owner car. The service record and brand history earn it a ''Great'' 3 year reliability forecast, as this vehicle is known for going a long time without major investments if you do your maintenance the way the previous owner did! It has the 2.0L engine, not the 2.5L, which means your gas mileage will be that much more efficient and your likelihood of getting pulled over that much less likely as well.
