Mercedes-Benz makes one smooth car. The transmission, acceleration, braking, suspension, ALL of it . . . *chef's kiss* Sure, it's a luxury German brand, so the placement of some features is likely to throw you off if you aren't used to it (the power seat controls are on the door by the handle, for instance), but you can tell just from sitting in the seat and looking at the high definition screens that the GLA 250 is not a typical commuter car. The entire design of this car just feels like the difference between cotton and silk fabric. The drive train is AWD, the motor is a 4 cylinder 2.0L turbocharged beauty that accelerates smoothly, with a 7-speed double clutch transmission that shifts like butter. Personally, the idea of getting such a phenomenal car in such a mundane color is a little crazy, but this color gray is a rich metallic genuinely does work for this car, as much as I don't like to admit it. It very much makes this car feel like all the wonderfulness that it is . . . is just for you, the driver. Which is good if you have a lead foot because this thing has some get up and go.
