One of only 1,000 examples ever produced (Number 0489), this 2022 Corvette C8.R Championship Edition Convertible is a rare, limited-production tribute to Chevrolet's IMSA GTLM championship-winning race program. Riding on staggered 19 and 20 five-spoke Trident wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, the exterior is further enhanced by the Exposed Carbon Fiber Ground Effects Package, including a carbon front splitter, side skirt extensions, and mirror caps. The high-wing spoiler and quad exhaust outlets complete the race-inspired aesthetic.The Z51 Performance Package brings upgraded Brembo brakes with yellow calipers, performance-tuned suspension, a heavy-duty cooling system, and a performance exhaust. A front suspension lift system ensures everyday usability. Power comes from the mid-mounted 6.2L LT2 V8 producing 495 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque, routed through a Tremec 8-speed dual-clutch transaxle with an electronically controlled limited-slip differential.
