Late-model, 4WD, accident-free and priced below CARFAX History-Based Valuethis 2024 Jeep Compass Latitude offers a lot of SUV for the money, backed by meaningful recent reconditioning at Steven Kia.CARFAX reports no accidents or damage, two previous owners and a clean title history with no structural damage, airbag deployment or odometer concerns reported. Both previous owners used the Compass as a rental vehicle, which we believe is important to disclose.Before offering it for sale, our technicians completed a comprehensive used-car inspection. During that process we diagnosed an intermittent warning involving the blind-spot monitoring and automatic emergency braking systems when operating the turn signal and tilt steering wheel. Rather than ignore the warning, we traced the concern to the steering-column electronics and addressed it as part of our reconditioning.Our preparation included:- Steering column control module/clock spring addressed- Front brake rotors resurfaced- Four-wheel alignment- Fresh oil and filter service- Blind-spot and automatic-emergency-braking warning diagnosed- Virginia state inspection- Full professional detailOur RO reflects more than $1,400 in mechanical diagnosis, repair and maintenance recommendations/work, in addition to the inspection and detail.There is a dent in the right-front door that was noted during our inspection. CARFAX also currently reports an open manufacturer emissions recall involving the Transmission Control Module, Recall #12D, with a remedy listed as available.The history otherwise remains clean: no accidents or damage reported to CARFAX and no branded-title or odometer issues.
