You also get the feel of a conventional automatic instead of the CVT used in many small crossovers. The Trax is compact outside, but Chevrolet did not make it feel cramped inside. It seats five, has a 60/40 split-folding rear seat and gives you the flexibility to handle groceries, luggage, backpacks, sports gear or whatever else shows up during a normal week. Deep-tinted rear glass, heated outside mirrors and LED headlights add useful equipment without cluttering up the design. Chevy Safety Assist includes Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Following Distance Indicator and IntelliBeam automatic high beams. A Rear Vision Camera is standard as well. This particular 1RS is not loaded down with a bunch of expensive packages it does not need. Its factory options are simple: all-weather floor liners and a front license plate bracket.
