Finished in Agate Black Metallic with Onyx seating and Miko inserts, it has the aggressive look and premium equipment expected from Fords performance-focused Explorer. The heart of this Explorer ST is a 3.0L EcoBoost V6 paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. A sport-tuned suspension, red performance brakes, selectable drive modes, quad-tip dual exhaust, and trailer sway control give it a more athletic personality than a typical three-row SUV. The Class III Trailer Tow Package adds useful capability for boats, trailers, and weekend equipment. The exterior makes its purpose clear with a black mesh grille, ST badging, Explorer hood lettering, LED headlamps, LED fog lamps and taillamps, front and rear skid-plate elements, privacy glass, rain-sensing wipers, and power heated auto-folding mirrors with ST projection lamps. Large 21-inch aluminum wheels with P275/45R21 all-season tires complete the stance. This Explorer also includes the Sun and Sound Package, adding a panoramic moonroof with a fixed glass panel and power sunshade, a 14-speaker B&O sound system, and multicontour front seats. Heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row captains chairs, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, ambient lighting, red contrast stitching, and a PowerFold third-row seat make the cabin comfortable and flexible for daily driving or longer trips. A 13.2-inch touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster anchor the technology package. Ford Digital Experience with Google Maps and access to the Google Play Store, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM with 360L, USB-C ports in every row, a 5G modem, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, remote start, and keyless entry with push-button start help keep everyone connected. Ford Co-Pilot360 Active 2.0, a 360-degree camera, and a 90-day BlueCruise trial add another level of confidence and convenience. BlueCruise allows hands-free highway driving on compatible prequalified sections of divided highways when conditions permit.
