Performance Capability Under the hood, the Mazda CX-5 is driven by a SKYACTIV-G 2.5L I-4 direct-injection engine equipped with cylinder deactivation, generating 187HP while earning an EPA-estimated 24 City MPG and 30 Highway MPG. Power is managed by a SKYACTIV-Drive 6-speed automatic transmission with manual-shift mode and Mazda Intelligent Drive Select (Mi-Drive), offering selectable Normal, Sport, and Off-Road driving modes. Confident traction comes standard thanks to i-ACTIV AWD, an automatic full-time all-wheel drive system built to maintain stability across rain, snow, and dry roads. Riding on 19 x 7-inch black metallic machined aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in P225/55R19 all-season tires, the CX-5 balances smooth ride quality and nimble handling using an independent strut front suspension and multi-link rear setup. Practical additions like front and rear splash guards also help protect the lower body from road debris during daily trips. Technology Connectivity Inside the cabin, modern technology keeps you connected and informed throughout your drive. A bright 12.9-inch primary display touchscreen anchors the dashboard, featuring Google built-in integrated navigation with voice activation and MAZDA CONNECT voice controls. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration allow seamless smartphone connectivity, while front wireless smart device charging eliminates cable clutter in the center console. Drivers benefit from a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster display paired with an Active Driving Display head-up system that projects crucial speed and safety info right onto the windshield. Additional cabin tech includes a HomeLink garage door opener, an 8-speaker audio system with Pandora internet radio capability, a MAZDA CONNECT mobile hotspot, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
