Made appointment and drove to Norwood 2 hours from the Cape. Our contact was not there but assured us all of our communications would be passed on. Great, right? Not quite. Got there, salesperson knew what we were looking for...the Civic Hatchback. After 1:15 minutes he finally showed us a "picture" of the one we inquired about. Ok, let's close the deal. But wait, the sales manager arrives and surprise, we can't sell you the Hatchback at that price...you we're quoted on the Civic Lx Sedan. I said no...here is the emailed quote and your salesman knew what car to show us when we arrived. Manager said, well we can't sell it at that price but then proceeded to make up a new quote. Wait...we drove 2 hours, been here two hours and have 2 1/2 hours back in rush hour traffic and your not going to honor your quote. We want to sell you the car but we can't at that price. General manager called in....same answer. Remember folks we had this in writing and the salesperson knew when we got there what car to show us. WE WILL BE SUEING BOCH HONDA. Classic bait and switch. Not to mention they tried to rip us off on the 2008 Honda Accord we were to trade in. Great condition 134,000 miles...Kelly Blue Book trade is $4,400. Private sale $6,400. BOCH offered $2,800. Hyannis Honda offered $4,500. For us, your word is as good as your reputation and in our experience stay away from Boch if you don't want to waste your time with the full chain of staff that don't honor there written quote. We will see them in court. More

Nobody, including the service manager, can give me a reason that makes sense in 2017. Making a chip key might have been difficult when they first came out, but I'm highly skeptical today, over a decade later. They are riding high on customer ignorance and I don't want them to continue to get away with this nonsense. Even if the service agent believes it, he should still question it (common sense), but they seem to blindly go along. Each new reason I get is sillier then the last. It's price gouging and collusion among dealerships. More
