Terrible Service Terrible service experience, not one but 4 times. Normally I would not write a bad review, but this is the 4th time I've had a bad experience. What makes it even worse is I have had the car for 8 months. I have a loaner more than my actual car. ... To reply to the comment below, the problem was NOT with the service performed on the vehicle. The problem(s) were the inability to reach someone at the service department. After calling several times, getting an answering machine, leaving messages, I had to go to the website to ask someone to call me or call back again after not receiving a return call. On more than one occasion, I was told my car would be finished on "Wednesday" and received no communication that day, or the day after, but 2 days later when it was finally finished. In addition, I bought the certified pre-owned vehicle in August 2014 with the tint on it. When I asked if it was legal, I was told yes by the sales rep, George. So when I was pulled over for tint 1 month later, I called the dealership and asked that they remove it because a.) I asked before I purchased if it was legal and b.) I was given 10 days to get it removed. I am not sure if this is out of ordinary or an odd request. Had I not asked before purchasing, I would have had it done elsewhere and paid for whatever the cost may be. The 3 other instances where the car was taken into service for various issues was within 7 months of purchasing the vehicle. This car has been one problem after another. After getting it inspected in February, not less than 3 weeks later the drive train malfunction light came on and the car stalled out while driving. So, like I said, the service department serviced the vehicle, but each and every time, it was a complete headache for me to try to reach someone and then once the vehicle was there, getting information on when the service would be complete. No one was proactive in letting me know, I had to call in to find out. Which in my opinion, is completely unacceptable. This is why this review was written; not after the 1st bad experience, not after the 2nd or 3rd, but after the 4th time. I also let Nancy know after the 3rd time, that she should NOT send me the review because of the issues I had previously. I attempted to let this problem remedy itself with the 4th visit and alas, the service was still deplorable and not what I had anticipated from this dealership. More

They always have a loaner for me, they wash and vacuum my car, and they are very prompt with service. Mike seems to have the service department well organized. On a few occasions I didn't even have to make an appointment as they took me in immediately. They even have some guy called 'BMW guru' or something who knows every feature of the car should you need any questions answered. He's also available not just by email but on the phone (my preferred method). Would find it difficult to go elsewhere. More

Horrible experience. Contacted Brandon via email, communication was slow at best. I had to finally call in and talk to a guy name Rob (who was very nice) who had to force Brandon to call me. Once he called he scheduled an appointment with me the next day at 10am. When i showed up the receptionist said he was not in today. The receptionist was very nice also a saleswomen walking around, Iveta, was so nice, she really explained the new 4 series to me and was so pleasant, i wish she would have been my assigned salesperson. Instead i got a guy named George who was terrible at communication and at times just incoherent. I told him the deal that Brandon had quoted me (602.00 a month), he went on Brandon's desk and found all of the paperwork with everything listed. After the trade appraisal he came back with 853.00 per month, i was shocked and asked what the issue was, he said the trade was 4k upside down. I explained that Brandon said it would not be that upside down, but i tried to be accommodating and told him i would put the 4k down in cash to get back to the initial deal of 602. George told me that is not how it worked but had zero ability to actually explain why "that is not how it worked". After telling him i would put the 4k down to get it back to the original deal he came back with 750 a month. I tried to get him to explain why the deal wasn't being honored and he said "Brandon probably just threw numbers out there to get you in the door". I was pretty shocked by that and said it that was unacceptable. Instead of taking an visibly upset customer and letting them talk to a manager he said "so it is sounding like the 850 a month won't work for you". I said no and he said have a happy new year and walked right out of his own office with his back to me and never looked back. If i wasn't so unnerved i would have thought it was actually funny, it was something out of a weird commercial showing terrible customer service. Ended up going to another local dealer who got me the deal Brandon quoted me (actually about 35 dollars more per month) in 30 minutes of talking and a credit app and i am now the proud owner of the vehicle. BMW is the best vehicle on the road (opinion only there) but they need to beef up their quality control at their dealerships. More
Brandon was very thorough in explaining the features of the BMW. He was diligent in searching for the exact BMW on my wish list. Brandon was also helpful in explaining the questions I had asked. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone wanting to purchase a BMW. BMW is a quality brand and needs quality dealerships to represent them. Unfortunately, A & L is not one of them. THE SALES MANAGER NATE NEVER GREETED ME OR SHOOK MY HAND AND HAD A REAL ATTITUDE, IT WAS LIKE IT WAS AN EFFORT FOR HIM TO APPRAISE MY CAR (I WAS THE ONLY ONE IN THE SHOWROOM). THE BMW I WENT TO LOOK AT HAD AND HAD A REAL ATTITUDE, IT WAS LIKE IT WAS AN EFFORT FOR HIM TO APPRAISE MY CAR (I WAS THE ONLY ONE IN THE SHOWROOM). THE BMW I WENT TO LOOK AT HAD A HUGE 4"x3" CURB RASH ON THE FRONT PASSANGER SIDE, APPARENTLY SOMEONE DROVE IT OVER A CURB AND THE DEALER THOUGHT IT WAS FINE TO HAVE ON THE LOT IN THAT CONDITION, ALSO THE CAR WAS DIRTY AND NEEDED BUFFED OUT AND THE DIRT ON THE WHEELS COULD HAVE MAYBE BEEN WASHED OFF. I went into this dealership for the first time after a colleague talked so highly of them. I had a wonderful experience from start to finish! I ended up purchasing a M3 coupe. I have walked into this dealership 4 times, well dressed and ready to buy. The first time I walked in, I had $15000 cash in hand and was pre-approved for $15000 The sales man asked me if I was marrie and ready to buy. I laughed and then realized that he was not joking. He was pushing me to get the Z4M and literally forced me to go for a joy ride (58K car) Second time, walked in with a suit on and the salesman asked me if my parents would co-sign my loan. I told him I have 45K pre-approved for a car. He then said " wow thats a lot of money for a young ...." ( I am 30 yrs old) Third time, I told the elderly person that I want a M3 1-2 years old and he said that he has not clue as to when he can get it or if he can even get it. He then went on for 10 minutes talking about how hard they are to get. Autotrader had >40 in a 100 mile radius of my house and P&W Bmw had two of them. In short, every time I have gone there it has the feeling of a mafia style dealership and I would stay away. They are used to "dumb customers" with a lot of money that order cars on the phone without realizing what they ordered was probably 10% more than other dealerships offer.
