Very long disappointing experience This is the 4th Kia vehicle we have owned. We have been happy with our vechicles. My last one being a 2016 sportage that had severe engine problems This is the 4th Kia vehicle we have owned. We have been happy with our vechicles. My last one being a 2016 sportage that had severe engine problems. When I showed up to purchase the car when there was a communication problem with my salesperson on the color. She did all of her communication with me through text messaging. While it was satisfactory I think the msicommunication that ended up with me being extremely disappointed could have been avoided if we had had a simple phone conversation where Erika asked me to confirm the color. or actaully go it in writing- which she did not. Then there was extreme pressure from the management to accept the wrong color because they had purchased it from another dealership. After that I ended up settling in a floor model to get the gray color I wanted but had to sacrifce features to go home with a car. I only get a new car usually every 6 years. This was an unexpected purchase with my car malfunctioning unexpectantly. I wish I could have gotten the car I wanted I was told by your “check out” person - I don’t remember her name but a woman- -of course the car has XM radio. I would get a code I was even contacted by the radio techs and they said this S model should have it My sportage doesn’t So I am extremely disappointed I kept asking for the owners manuel. When we left the dealership because This new model has some features I am not familiar with. I was told it was company policy that my owners manual and spare key be mailed to me. I find that strange. I’m still waiting for it. it has been 11 days. There are things I don’t know how to operate and would like my owners manual- Pretty simple,. After I settled on the car and color sitting on their showroom floor it took another 3 hours to get out of there even though I was already preapproved for financing. Doing all the paperwork and working with the financing guy was actually the easiest and most streamlined part-we were in and out in 30 min. While I still have faith in Kia cars I would never use this dealership again More

Kia Soul recall I brought my Kia in for a oil change in mid June 2019. During my visit I was informed that there was a recall on my model and they would keep the car I brought my Kia in for a oil change in mid June 2019. During my visit I was informed that there was a recall on my model and they would keep the car and make the repairs. I was given a rental, but they were unable to accommodate my need for a car that could fit my daughters wheel chair in the trunk, and was told the dealership only did business with that location, so my only choice was what they had on the lot. Over the next three months I did not get 1 update on the status of my car or when they expected the work to be completed. When I called they only told me it was not done yet. Finally 2 weeks ago I got a call that the work was completed and the car was ready. But, the battery was dead and they could replace it for for $240. Of course I wasn’t surprised because the car was sitting for 3 months. We disputed our responsibility for the cost of the battery with the manager, because when they took the car the battery was operating. He eventually negotiated a price of $130, which I still thought was unfair and they should have taken full responsibility. But, my family had a trip planned for Labor Day weekend and we needed the car. I will never use this Kia dealership again for any repairs or service to my car. More
