Phone mailboxes for salesperson and manager are now full. No return calls. I have yet to file formal complaint to the state dealer authorities and the FTC. Extremely disappointing and concerning experience with ALM Automotive Group in Union City, Georgia. On February 26, 2026, we purchased a 2025 Hyundai from ALM Automotive Group in Union City and provide ALM Automotive Group in Union City, Georgia. On February 26, 2026, we purchased a 2025 Hyundai from ALM Automotive Group in Union City and provided valid insurance documentation before leaving the dealership. Everything was approved at the time of sale. Shortly afterward, the dealership contacted us claiming there was an issue with the insurance and accused us of providing fraudulent insurance documentation. These accusations were made directly by the dealership’s general manager, Nathan. We were threatened with potential criminal accusations and told to immediately return the vehicle. Even though we strongly disagreed with these allegations, we complied in good faith and returned the vehicle on March 3, 2026. At the time, the vehicle had only been driven 556 miles. We paid a $2,100 down payment to ALM Automotive Group. After returning the vehicle, ALM Automotive Group refunded only $438.20 and kept the remaining $1,661.80. Because of how serious these accusations were, we even went to the ALM Automotive Group corporate headquarters to try to resolve the issue. Instead of resolving the matter, we later received a call from the company’s vice president, whose response was just as dismissive and unprofessional regarding the accusations that had been made against us. Being accused of fraud and threatened with criminal allegations by management at ALM Automotive Group in Union City is extremely serious and distressing. It is also very concerning that a dealership would demand the return of a vehicle and then keep most of a customer’s down payment. We are still requesting the return of the remaining $1,661.80 that was paid in good faith. These people took hard earn money! But justice will prevail. More
