I’m in a new car! Brought my old Kia Optima in for service and the bill was going to be quite high. I had been considering trading my car in for some time now. Initiall Brought my old Kia Optima in for service and the bill was going to be quite high. I had been considering trading my car in for some time now. Initially I looked at the Stinger. Nice but was out side of my range. Worked with the sales team to find a new Optima SX with the right options and colors to fit my budget. Love the new safety features in these cars. More

First Time Car Buyer This was my first time buying a car and I definitely learned a lot from this experience and will do better next time around. First I found the car I w This was my first time buying a car and I definitely learned a lot from this experience and will do better next time around. First I found the car I wanted on Turecar and reached out to see if it was still available. A few moments later I was contacted and told that the car was still available. The next day I went in to look at the car and when I arrived they said the car wasn't there yet. I was frustrated because it was the car I wanted and the price I wanted and being told that it was there and driving all the way there for it not to be there was very frustrating. Why have a car on your website if you don't have it yet. Then I asked if they had any similar cars (Kia or Hyundai) in that same price range. There was another Kia but it was at one of their sister locations (Newnan) which was told was 10 minutes away but was really 20 minutes away. The car was similar to the one I wanted but the Price was more, when I saw that I told Ben I liked it but wanted to get it for the price of the one I saw online that I wanted. he told me not to worry about it that it wouldn't be a problem. When we got back to the dealership he showed me the price of the car and while they did come down on the price it was still $400 more than the car I originally came to see. Ben then went back to his manager to see if they could come down some more. They both came back and he told me that they couldn't come down anymore because it ended in 77 which means it was at the lowest it could go. Then he said that they had free maintenance for a year that is normally for new car purchases but that they would give it to me since they can't come down on the price. Being frustrated with the whole experience I wasn't thinking and I agreed to the price. But later realized that they lied to me twice. 1. saying that they couldn't lower the price anymore because it ended in 77... They were able to lower the price once because that is not where it started, so they could've lowered it again. 2. Saying that they would give me free maintenance for a year that is normally only for new cars when it is for new and used cars (Which Ben told me when we were at the Newnan dealership). While I do like my car I haven't really been able to enjoy it because I feel like I got played and should've handled the situation better. I know business of selling cars is a grimy one but didn't realize it was that bad until I experienced it first hand. More
