AMKO Auto Temple Hills

I purchased a 2016 Cadillac Ats April 25, 2023. Off of the lot the car had problems. When they allowed me to look at the car, it didn't have any service lights on. When I drove the car off of the l Off of the lot the car had problems. When they allowed me to look at the car, it didn't have any service lights on. When I drove the car off of the lot the service suspension light was on. I scheduled an appointment the next day with the service department and they replaced the front struts but they didn't use the OEM struts so the service suspension light was still on. I told them about the issue and basically they said it's nothing they can do because in their eyes it was deemed as fixed since they replaced the struts. While the service suspension light is on, the car was limited to 85mph. 2 weeks after AMKO auto replaced the struts. The Car began shaking and jerking. The transmission failed. I had to pay $1800 out of pocket while covered by the dealership warranty at AMKO Auto. 2 months after the transmission was replaced at AMKO auto, the engine failed. Their mechanic on-site told me I had a cracked cylinder head on the engine which caused it to consume copious amounts of coolant and overheat. I was quoted 4.7k to fix the problem by then. There is no way that it's acceptable to purchase a vehicle off of the lot with 71k miles and having to replace 1.A Transmission 2.A Engine after owning it for ONLY 4 months. I've only put 3.4k miles on the car since purchase within the past 4 months. Every time I come in with an issue I'm having with the vehicle, they act as if I'm bothering them and I've noticed the customer service has depreciated with me since the bank finally wrote them their check. This is my first time writing a review and my first time buying a used car that needed major repairs off of the lot. I never had to purchase an engine or transmission before on any of my used cars. Their excuse for not helping me with replacing my engine is because I'm out of warranty and I that "I may have been driving the vehicle overly rough". Also when I brought the car in to be inspected for shaking and shuddering, why wasn't the engine inspected?? HOW CAN I DRIVE THE VEHICLE ROUGH WHEN IT DOESN'T GO OVER 85MPH???? It’s physically impossible! The ENGINE WONT ALLOW IT. I also was promised the Maryland inspection papers at the time of purchase but I did not receive them. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. These people are crooks! Once they get their money they don’t care about you. Customer service goes out the window. As a Man you should stand on integrity. These people don’t have any. More

I inquired about a car they had listed on their website on July 19. After emailing several times I received only stock responses saying they could put me in a car if I had good credit. I think this is a very shady dealership and suggest that you not post their vehicles they claim to have for sale. More
