2022 Ram 2500 Diesel I dropped my truck off with Donovan to perform some current factory recalls. The work was performed in a couple of hours. My truck was returned washed and ready. I mentioned to Donovan to perform some current factory recalls. The work was performed in a couple of hours. My truck was returned washed and ready. I mentioned to Donovan that there has been a standing issue with the Trailer tire pressure monitoring system (TTPMS). I explained that it was not a standard trailer to big problem but rather the computer will randomly on startup display TTMPS is not programed. This will happen 80% of the time and if I go into Vehicle settings and switch between existing preprogrammed trailer profiles it will load correctly until the next time the engine is shut down. I also pointed out it was observed that on cooler mornings when the preheat stag is delaying the startup it will work as advertised 99% of the time. This issue is independent with or without the trailer. Donovan understood this isn't a common problem and would need special attention. He made arrangements to bring their lead electrical/computer tech Cody onboard to pursue this software glitch. Currently scheduled to return next week so Cody can download some config files and forward them to the factory engineer team. My fingers are crossed. More
