Academy Ford claims the buyer is responsible for what ACADEMY FORD had to put into the vehicle to prepare it for sale. Somehow you are responsible to pay this…nearly $2000 (for our particular situation) on top of your sales tax, dealer processing fee, title & registration fees. NEVER, EVER have I experienced this in all the dealerships I have purchased from. BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS WHEN MOVING FORWARD WITH THE PURCHASE OF A USED CAR FROM HERE BECAUSE YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT ACADEMY FORD HAD TO PUT INTO THE CAR TO PREP FOR SALE…when they should have gotten it from the person who traded the vehicle in initially for another car. Incredibly questionable ethics and integrity at this dealership. More
Jackie the internet sales manager was very friendly and set me up with my Ainoa my sales consultant. My car purchase experience last week at Academy Ford in Laurel MD was a pleasure. My sales associate, Ainoa Garcia, was cordial, professional and very knowledgeable with all the features on the 2019 Ford E Laurel MD was a pleasure. My sales associate, Ainoa Garcia, was cordial, professional and very knowledgeable with all the features on the 2019 Ford Explorer. She was a pleasure to work with. Her sales manager, Russell Hawthorne, also worked with me to make sure all my questions and concerns were completely addressed. I also stopped in the Service Dept. and spoke with service consultant Derek Watson with a few questions I had about issues with my old 2006 Explorer. It was great to get his input and future maintenance advice. He will be my go-to service advisor in the future. This was my first purchase from Academy Ford but it won’t be my last. More

Now when I went there to buy another car Alex wasn’t there a good salesman and I bought 3 cars from Academy in 3 years. All paid off within one year. Now when I went there to buy another car Alex wasn’t there and nobody stepped up to help me properly. As a result I went to another dealership and everyone there was very nice and friendly. More

Colin Campbell at Academy Ford was so pleasant to work with. He was very knowledgeable about our vehicle and very professional. Every one we came in contact with was very kind, even my furry baby was welc with. He was very knowledgeable about our vehicle and very professional.
