What they found was unacceptable for any dealership sale: The front left headlight and turn signal didn’t work because it was completely disconnected The EVAP tank had a hole in it and was zip-tied to the vehicle The passenger-side window controls didn’t function at all The windshield washer fluid system doesn’t even spray—it leaks out instead These are not minor issues. These are basic functionality and safety-related problems that should have been addressed or disclosed before selling the car. On top of that, the salesman skimmed over and downplayed the accident history on the Carfax, which only became clearer after the purchase. When I reached out to them about the major issues (especially the headlight and EVAP system), they initially ghosted me for several days. Then, out of nowhere, their mechanic texted me saying I could bring the car in—after I had already authorized and paid for repairs myself just to make the car usable. They never reimbursed me or took responsibility. Communication completely fell apart once the sale was done, and I also received no real help regarding title updates or follow-up questions. Overall, this experience showed a clear lack of transparency, quality control, and accountability. If you’re considering buying from Acceler8 Performance, I would strongly recommend getting an independent inspection beforehand—or better yet, going somewhere else entirely. More
