Greetings, We apologize you feel wronged by Acura of Bellevue. You did leave out a few key factors in your review. You drove 30,000 miles above and beyond your allotted mileage on your old lease. You knew going into the new lease that you would be subject to a mileage penalty. You called Acura Finance and spoke with them before you leased the New TLX. Our sales manager had a conversation with you and estimated that your mileage penalty would be roughly $3300 before you leased the new TLX. You decided not to trade it in because of the effect the negative equity (due to excess miles) would have on your new payment. We gave you clear cut options and you chose to take the path that you did. You did an excellent job on negotiating your mileage penalty down to $1600 and because of your negotiation skills you then expected Acura of Bellevue to pay the bill. After you spoke with Acura Financial and our Sales Manager you took a few days before you decided to go forward. We never put any pressure on you to go with trading in the vehicle or paying your mileage penalty (it was your choice). Again, after taking time to digest your situation you chose the route you took. After exchanging numerous emails with you and asking you questions about your experience, you admitted to me (in print) that you were aware going into the new lease that you were going to have to pay a mileage penalty on your old lease. You stated to me that this fact was "erroneous" due to you negotiating your mileage penalty from $3300 to $1600 and because you negotiated the fee down we should pay it. This thought process is your key position on why we should pay your mileage penalty. Acura Financial made this crystal clear and Acura of Bellevue made this crystal clear. You were crystal clear that there would be a fee for your excess mileage. Acura of Bellevue takes its reputation very seriously. We sell cars with integrity and transparency. We are members of the local community and we are friends and neighbors to many of our clients. To us, our reputation is everything. From the first email you sent us you threatened that if we didn't pay your mileage penalty you would write a bad review and ruin our good standing in the community. We took your claim seriously and reviewed your claims. You and I exchanged emails and you admitted to me, that going into the new lease you were made aware that there would be a mileage penalty ($3300). I still don't understand your mindset in regards to this matter, but you made it very clear if we didn't pay your penalty you were going to write a nasty review. After reviewing the facts and knowing we were transparent with you, we chose not to be coerced into paying your debt. Like every client we do business with, we treated you with respect, integrity, and transparency. Sincerely, Acura of Bellevue

Lies and More Lies! Some car dealers will say anything to get out of doing the right thing. Acura of Bellevue will take advantage of you too! Lucky for you people that are shopping Acura to make a purchase, there are three other Acura dealerships inside 25 miles that you can buy from. Don’t get taken by these guys and lose your hard earned money like me. Run away from Acura of Bellevue!!

The only guest Jason made us aware of in the particular time frame of this review was someone who was going to cancel their appointment because we would not give them a loaner vehicle overnight for an oil and filter change. He followed our policy of not being able to accommodate as we simply do not have enough loaner vehicles to supply them for services that can be done within an hour through our Accelerated Service bays. In this case he offered to accommodate by offering either our shuttle service or our Saturday hours. We followed our policy in order to remain fair to all of our other guests that have been explained the same policy. Clients who purchased their vehicle from another dealer and coming to us for assistance has been an ongoing issue for quite some time and that is why we had to implement this rule. If a client purchased their Acura out of state or purchased a pre-owned Acura from a non-Acura dealer then our policy is to assist them. We do apologize for the inconvenience but we do not feel that it is our obligation to make up for your Sales associates short comings by not performing a complete delivery of the vehicle which includes pairing your phone. The dealership and the Sales associate you purchased your New Acura from were paid to perform these services and show you how to use your New vehicle. We have been the top volume Acura dealer in Washington State for the last 17 years running and we have achieved that by taking care of our clients, being transparent and professional. We go through great lengths for our clients to ensure that they are happy with their vehicle. We often go to their home or work after the delivery to explain the vehicles features and to program HomeLink as well as assist them with any other questions they may have. We do offer a service for pairing your phone and doing a proper delivery for clients who did not purchase their vehicle here. Again we apologize for this inconvenience and hope you understand our situation. It was simply becoming too common of an occurrence with clients who purchased from another dealership.
