Randall Matthews is an excellent salesperson. My uncle did not go into Acura thinking he'll be purchasing the 2014 Acura MDX the same day, trading his RAV4 and bringing the MDX home. He was actually going to take his RAV4 in for service to fix a recall, but he wanted to check out the MDX before hand. He did not plan to purchase the MDX until at least 6 months to 1 year later. The main reason my uncle purchased the MDX was because of Randall and his excellent customer service. Randall was very attentive, knowledgeable and answered all the concerns we have regarding the MDX, he offered the option to test drive it and was very helpful throughout the whole purchasing process. Even after we purchased the MDX, he was still very attentive and helpful and thorough with explaining the functions of the car and anything that needed explanation. A day after purchasing the car, my uncle needed the registration as soon as possible. He needed it to transfer his fast lane information and Randall went above and beyond and got it done for us right away. I am very impressed with the customer service my uncle & I received at Acura of Boston. Randall is such an awesome salesperson that we do not hesitate to recommend to all our friends and family members that wants to purchase an Acura to visit this dealership and ask for Randall Matthews. I believe everyone should experience a great car purchasing experience like we did because of Randall. Randall and Curtis was very helpful and patient during the negotiation process, giving us the best deal and making it such a smooth transaction. Acura of Boston is really lucky to have Randall as their salesperson. Randall's hard work and exceptional customer service should be acknowledged, it definitely will bring back repeated customers and more customers from recommendations. I highly recommend Randall Matthews to anyone thinking of purchasing a car at Acura of Boston in Brighton, MA. I also recommend Randall to be salesperson of the month, he truly deserves it!! More
This was my first experience at this dealership and because of Dumitru Moisei it was a great experience. He was very personable, knowledgeable about the acura and other similar car makers which helped because of Dumitru Moisei it was a great experience. I was extremely impressed by the dealership's overall attentiveness and outstanding customer service. The entire process from the sales manager, Brendan, to the sales and leasing consultants, Randall and attentiveness and outstanding customer service. Called on a Saturday Am looking for a 2013 model. Had same with 3000 miles in great condition and very good price. Closed the deal that afternoon . In July, 2013, we bought a used car from the dealership ( 2012 Honda Fit with 6K miles). Please be aware, that as you go into the dealership, they will try to lure you in by saying that the car has been on t 2012 Honda Fit with 6K miles). Please be aware, that as you go into the dealership, they will try to lure you in by saying that the car has been on the lot for many days and they are going to auction it off the next day. Which was not true as the sales person called me 3 days later asking if I was interested in the car. The staff is extremely unprofessional, i.e. Curtis/Sam, who have no idea how to interact with the customer. They frankly just don't care and are extremely rude in dealing with you. We thought that they might not be very experienced and hence started working with Sales Manager ( Mike Benoit ). I finally wanted the car, so, I said I would pay the asking price. They told me that I would get the car the next day by 1:00 PM. I called them close to 10 times to ensure that I would receive the car by 1:00 PM. They kept complaining that my insurance company was not returning the completed forms. Ultimately, I spoke with almost three people to give the fax number of my insurance company. Finally they admitted that they had the wrong fax number. Though none of them ever admitted that they were incorrect in finishing the paper work. They did not tell me the time that they would deliver the car as they missed the 1:00 PM delivery time. Finally, I called them to find out when they would deliver the car. They said that they left the car on my driveway. I was not home to inspect the car when they delivered the car and worst they left the car running with the keys in the car on my driveway. I called up Mike Benoit to complain and he said that customer service was not very important as I only bought a 16K car. They would only be nice, if I had bought an expensive car. I asked Mike Benoit, if I could speak to his manager. He said he was the end stop and there was no one above him. I finally called the front desk and asked who was the top level person there. They gave me the name of Mike Bender. He gave me a call and said that he was traveling out of the country and could not talk to me. He mentioned that he would follow up with me after he was back in the states. I guess he forgot to follow up. I guess customer service ranks very poorly on their list and shows up from all the reviews as well as my experience. I can say that I was very disappointed and would recommend all folks to be very careful, while visiting their dealership to buy the car. More
I bought an Acura ILX at Acura of Boston and I had a really nice experience. I found the staff at the Brighton dealership to be friendly and professional compared with other dealerships I visited.
