We are committed to be a part of your vehicle ownership and want all our guests to have an outstanding service visit. We regret that your recent visit was anything less than perfect. Your feedback is valuable and has been shared with our management team to investigate what caused your experience. Our records show that the one tire was a non factory size and taller than the other three and came in mounted on the passenger rear of your Acura (factory size is 235/60/18. Firestone mounted a 235/65/18, which is about 3/4" taller). The reason the warning lights did not initially trigger as your Acura is a Front Wheel Drive (FWD) configuration. And as mentioned, the warning lights did not occur until leaving our dealership and this was after we rotated the wheels as part of the service, moving the taller tire to the passenger front. After reinspecting for the cause, it was only then that we found the one tire to be the incorrect size, thus causing the ABS system thinks that there is a flat or tire slipping as it spins at a different rate than the adjacent front driver's side tire. We take great pride with our service department and value all our guest's feedback, both favorable and less than. So it seems like the people at this dealership want a cookie for finding that whenever I had one of my tires replaced at a different location that establishment fitted my car with a improper tire. I get that. I'm not contesting that. What I am upset about is that you didn't find out that my tire was the incorrect size until Saturday. Friday you were notified that there were warning alerts going off in my car, you took my car back to figure out what was going on, you cleared those messages and gave me the keys. You cleared those messages and gave me the keys before you realize what was wrong. So, my issue is that you would clear warning messages and put me back in the driver's seat when my car is potentially unsafe. I totally understand that on Saturday you guys find found out what was wrong but on Friday you had no clue and even though I had five six warning signals going off you still cleared those messages and gave me back my keys. That is a problem and that is you putting me in a potentially unsafe vehicle. Stop trying to shift the blame and take responsibility for what you did. I am not blaming you for my tires being the incorrect size I am blaming you for giving me the keys back to my car when you didn't know what was wrong with it. Maybe it was braking system, maybe it was the power steering system failing , you did not know on Friday you cleared those messages and put me back in the car.
