My wife and I decided that we wanted to buy the new 2013 Acura RDX after reading all the rave reviews of the latest edition of this luxury SUV. We emailed four Acura dealers on Long Island and received the Acura RDX after reading all the rave reviews of the latest edition of this luxury SUV. We emailed four Acura dealers on Long Island and received the best/lowest quote from Garrick Huie, the Internet Specialist Manager of Acura of Huntington. I went to the dealership and met with Garrick who showed me the auto and pointed out all the new and improved features of the 2013 model. He was well informed and quite articulate as he answered my many questions about the RDX. We then went into his office where I expected him to tell me that to get the price he emailed me (because it was so low), I would have to buy the car that day and that there also might be some extra fees like prep, documentation security labeling, etc. that many auto dealers (including a south shore Acura dealer) add at the last second. Instead Garrick told me the price he emailed me (which was $500. lower than a nearby competitor) was the total price of the car other than taxes and DMV fees. No negotiating, haggleing, conversations with managers, etc. He said if I was pleased with the price that I should bring my wife back so she could choose the color she wanted after seeing the vehicles in the daylight on the lot. We returned the next day and bought a beautiful Graphite Luster Metallic with Parchment Leather Interior RDX. When we picked up the car, Garrick spent over an hour with us showing and explaining all the features of the car. He couldn't have been nicer or more informative. This is a beautiful dealership with special people working there who consider customer service a top priority. I have bought over fifteen new cars in my lifetime and have usually been stressed out after each purchase. Not this time as purchasing our RDX at Acura of Hunting was an incredibly pleasant buying experience thanks mainly to Garrick Huie. I would highly recommend this dealership and salesman to all my friends and family. P.S. During our first conversation, Garrick found out that my wife and I are golfers. After the sale and explantion of all the features and as we were about to drive away, Garrick gave my wife and I two beautiful well made golf hats with "ACURA MOTORSPORTS" imprinted on them that I had seen and admired in a display case with accessories, etc. at the dealership. The sale was over and done and yet he took the time (and I'm sure his own money) to do something special for us. When was the last time you received something for nothing at a car dealership??? More
My husband and I have always been loyal to the Acura dealership in Smithtown but because we moved we checked out the Acura dealership in Huntington just to get an idea of what we wanted. We met with Tom Aveni and from the beginning he was courteous and attentive to our needs. We have dealt with other Salesman in the past, but Tom was by far the most professional salesman we have encountered. When we had to wait for any reason Tom kept us engaged in conversation as well as updated us on why we were waiting. He is a genuine person which my husband and I admired. Because of these qualities, we decided to take our business to the Acura dealership in Huntington. We bought a new car and are happy with it. I would strongly recommend Tom Aveni to my friends and family. More

Garrick was wonderful. He made our (my wife and I) buying experience very comfortable and did not pressure us at all. He was very informative and worked with us to give us the best deal possible. Derrick took the time to go over EVERY feature on the RDX in detail. What impressed me the most about Derrick Jumper was his knowledge, professionalism and personality. His friendly demeanor was a welcomed trait, as he explained the complexity of today's modern technology present in the RDX. He made this technology very easy to understand and he made sure I felt comfortable with the RDX before I left. Derrick Jumper obviously has a great passion for the work he does and he shares that passion with his customers. In today's economy, vehicle service can be quite intimidating. However, Derrick is an honest man who looks out for the comfort of his customers. I know that when I bring in my RDX for service, Derrick will make sure that the work is done perfectly and at a FAIR PRICE. Derrick Jumper is not looking to "up-sell" any unnecessary service. If you don't need it, he will tell you so. That is extremely comforting. I can bring my RDX to a dealer closer to my home in Islip, but I will ALWAYS make the drive to Huntington, so that Derrick Jumper can handle my RDX's service. When you find a professional of Derrick Jumper's character, you stay associated with that professional. Thank you Derrick. You are an extremeley valuable asset to Acura! More

I was interested in leasing a new 2012 Acura TL. I had previously leased a 2009 TL and had been very happy with it. I heard there was a new dealership named Acura of Huntington closer to where I lived, so previously leased a 2009 TL and had been very happy with it. I heard there was a new dealership named Acura of Huntington closer to where I lived, so I went to check them out. I was greeted very nicely by the young lady at the reception desk and she introduced me to a salesman named Jabir Choudhery. He was very friendly and gave me all the answers I asked about regarding the new dealership, and he showed me the new 2012 Acura TL in the exact color I was interested in. After going over all the details regarding what I wanted in the car, he explained the costs depending on how much of a down payment I could give. I was very pleasantly surprised how affordable my payments would be and I thanked him for being patient and helpful. The following day I drove out to my OLD Acura dealership to get their pricing on the exact same car. After they gave me their prices, I decided to go back to Jabir at Acura of Huntington and complete the deal. The staff at the dealership was courteous, offering me something to drink and a snack, and were completely professional. They were very kind and gave me thank you gifts, (like two Acura key fobs) and were all very gracious. I had to come back for a little lesson in Blue Tooth technology, and Jabir took the time to show me how to put my phone book in. I have already recommended this dealership to several friends, and my own daughter and her husband plan to go and speak with Jabir about an Acura RDX very soon, when their Mazda car lease is up in July. All in all, I give this dealership an A+ and look forward to servicing my car there! More
