Check Your Loaner Car for a Valid Insurance Card! We needed routine preventative maintenance performed on our 2005 Acura TL. We scheduled an appointment and were given a loaner car while the car was in for service. We then received a call stating the technician performed a Multi Point inspection and recommends additional service. Maria, our Service Advisor was very nice and explained the recommendations in detail. We approved the recommendations. After we drove the loaner car home and reviewed the documents and found out that the insurance card in the loaner car was expired. We notified Acura of Ocean and were told to bring the loaner car back to the dealership. We brought the loaner car back and given another loaner car. The other loaner car also had an expired insurance card. We spoke to the service manager, Steve Cotter about this issue and he was rude and unprofessional. We also spoke to Marc Rediker, Manager of the dealership about this issue and he stated all loaner cars on the dealership lot have an expired insurance card. For some reason, we did not get valid insurance cards in time but, all our loaner cars are insured. The next day, we got a call stating your car is ready to be picked up. When we went to pick up the vehicle all recommended work as per the Multi Point inspection sheet was not performed. From this experience, I highly recommended customers to check your loaner car documents before you drive off the dealership lot. Otherwise be prepared for a ticket with a mandatory court date and possibly having your car impounded as per the law in the State of New Jersey. More

Went over to the RDX in the showroom where I was then approached by what I thought was a salesman. After a few minutes of discussing the vehicle, he informed me that he was the sales manager(forgot his name) and would send a salesman over. At least five or more minutes passed, and no one approached me. Needless to say I walked out. Is this any way to run a business? More

We told him we would be back on Wed the 31 since we had 3 young children with us and needed to get them home He assured us a phone call regarding our inquiries! suffice it to say never a call back(a not so commission hungry car salesman who makes a minimal base salary ????) IDK. ,But nonetheless bought a new Acura 2015 mdx from another dealer much further away.... A simple phone call dude would have done it. The common courtesy of a return call or lackthereof cost him commish and the dealer one less vehicle moved before year end!! They certainly entered my info into the system since I have already received several emails from them regarding nonsense promotions etc..... Poor salesmanship poor mgmt. maybe who knows. I guess there is good reason why car dealerships/salesman are so negatively stereotyped case in point More

Horrible, rude and obnoxious 1 star is way to generous. 2013 Acura TL with 20k miles. Went to have the oil changed and tires rotated. After we agreed to just oil change and tire rotation they called me while servicing my car and insisted I spend another $600 or the car was going to break down. Again I refused and they didn't like that and sarcastically told me that they are making note and that "you've been warned". When I picked the car up I noticed that they hadn't rotated the tires because of a gouge I put in the front right wheel (trust me... the scraping on a curb was painfully burned into my memory)... They insisted it was done and even showed me a surveillance video in which you could barely see the rear left corner of the car. I asked him to show me the other side and said he didn't have it. But he insisted that the mechanic could do no wrong or make any mistakes and sarcastically told me that "he believed me" and he would rotate them back as if they were already done. After that insult I said just credit me the amount for the tire rotation... he refused and told me never to call for another service appointment. How this clown (S.C.) is the general manager is beyond me. The reviews for this dealership are overwhelmingly negative so I can only imagine how many people they've screwed. Mean, Nasty and unprofessional.... don't waste your time or money. More

I went to the dealership to pick up my 2010 Acura MDX after having it serviced and ended up leasing a brand new 2014 Acura TL se. The sales team was great and the whole experience with Acura of Ocean wa after having it serviced and ended up leasing a brand new 2014 Acura TL se.
