Dealer was great to deal with in the purchase of my new Acura MDX, especially taking delivery. The service manager (Alison) was very knowledgeable and friendly. She takes her time explain what was done in detail. I was called in by Jeff Halpern to return my MdX early for a new one to pay less than what I was currently paying. I thought it was odd & unprofessional when he starting text messaging me about the deal b for a new one to pay less than what I was currently paying. I thought it was odd & unprofessional when he starting text messaging me about the deal because I told him I could not speak @ work. Over 2 days we came to a deal & "supposedly" had the paperwork ready & all I had to do was come in to switch cars & pay. I then find out that he had already went ahead & charged my card for $1000 & he told me his receptionist made a mistake & that I had to come in w/the card for the refund. I gave him the benefit of the doubt & went in to only find out more lies. He lied about the price , details of the lease & best of all lied to my face in front of his manager when I interrupted their conversation to question what was going on while they spoke privately.. Jeff had me drive an hr & 1/2 from where I live w/my newborn baby to waste 3 hrs of my day to be lied to and annoyed. I ended up getting my car from the manager after showing him all the lies & text messages. I would highly suggest to never ever use Jeff or this dealer ship which employes such a sacadalious inconsiderate liar. Jeff Halpern is unprofessional & dishonest! More
I always find the staff to be very friendly and solicitous. The excellent service started as soon as I parked my car. I was greeted in a very friendly manner and directed to the service desk. Here, again, the customer service rep was very friendly, took care of my requests and called to let me know that my car was ready to be picked up. All the work I requested was performed perfectly. Had to have my Acura TL towed to the dealership after a computer/AC malfunction. At first I was told that the repairs were going to be so costly that it would not be beneficial to fix the car. After speaking with Steve Cotter, he helped get Acura to pay for some of the repairs. Kudos to the whole team. This is my 4th Acura and you have renewed my commitment to staying with the Acura name. Awesome experiance. Got a flat around the corner after service hours. The sales floor manager and the receptionist managed to get me in and out with a loaner in 15 minutes..8pm at night and took care of service hours. I am a repeat customer of Ocean Acura, I went in to look at a new model that had just come out ( ILX) with several months still left on my current lease not thinking I could do anything yet. Dave approched me and was very friendly & honest & low &n behold I have a new ILX. I have to say I have purchased many many cars over the years & I have to say that this was the quickest & smoothest purchase I can rememeber. Dave was great & I really liked working with him as well as his follow up. Sure I will be going for my 3rd Acura in the future & will surely make the purchase at Ocean Acura More
