My name is Terry Leeder I am the GM at Napleton's Palm Beach Acura. I have looked into your concern regarding your vehicle and would like to assure you that the issue with your vehicle is due to the wear and tear of the transmission and not due to the performance of our technicians. It is not uncommon for any vehicle with 142,000 miles to need mechanical repair. Our customer satisfaction ratings are of the highest level with Acura clients and our store won the Precision Team award in 2011 for customer excellence. We pride ourselves in what we do and feel disappointed that you feel we let you down. I am aware that you have been in touch with Acura direct on this issue and they have supported the fact that your vehicle is in need of repair with no fault to our dealership. I would like to help you in regards to the repair by discounting the cost in fixing your vehicle.This is a good will gesture but need you to understand that we can't take responsibility for the mechanical breakdown of a vehicle that has excessive mileage. The vehicle came with a 4 year 50,000 mile warranty your vehicle is 92,000 miles in excess of the warranty that was given. Please realize that a vehicle cannot be driven for 1 month without transmission fluid. I understand that my Service Manager made an appointment with you to discuss your issue but you have not attended at this point. If you would like to reschedule please let me know. Mrs Pearce, My name is Terry Leeder I am the GM at Napleton's Palm Beach Acura. I am disappointed that you feel we let you down as we pride ourselves on customer relations. Our store was awarded the Precision Team award this year for customer excellence and we hold very high ratings with Acura's Customer Satisfaction Index. I would like to give you an explanation in taking 8 days for you initial concerns. We were unable to duplicate the Navigation freeze initially and need the component to be defective so we can receive a code to fix the issue and we also called Acura's Tech line to identify the pulsation in the transmission which takes time to go through these channels.I believe you understand the miscommunication on the running boards as Advance boards were requested. We originally installed Advance but changed them due to you needing Tubular side steps not Advance. Our Service manager approved a discount plus complimentary Lux care which you accepted. Although we are not perfect we aim to be and we are always here to give you exceptional service. Our pick up and delivery service is a exclusive concierge service that not all Acura stores provide and this service will be always be available to you.
