It can be easy when it is a "required" maintenance such as oil change, tire rotation, etc. As in the most recent case when my car needed to be towed due to a tire issue from hitting a pothole, they understood the emergency aspect and my need to be back on the road quickly. They not only replaced the damaged tire, but also checked the rest of the car to make sure there were no residual issues. More
