Put in a request through car gurus to sell my car. Received a reply through Lisa Hale at Advantage Toyota of River Oaks 1970 River Oaks Dr Calumet City, IL 60409 . Explained to her that I had Received a reply through Lisa Hale at Advantage Toyota of River Oaks 1970 River Oaks Dr Calumet City, IL 60409 . Explained to her that I had to switch my rims out and I could bring the car in. I was offered 36,542 for my vehicle. I confirmed with Lisa 4 days before my appointment of what their offer was and if it had changed, she replied that 36,542 was there offer so it should be around that or more. I showed up at the exact time of my appointment, a gentlemen named Brian helped me and asked how much I was looking to get for my car. I showed him the email from Lisa from 4 days prior that said 36,542. He brought the keys to his manager and walked back to say " we're going to be around 30-31 for your car" I said that is ridiculous and I never would have wasted my time driving there for that offer. He said he'd go back and talk to his manager. He came back with an offer of "31,500" I showed him my phone at which I had 2 other active offers on it, the lowest one being 33,000. Had I known this company was going to be nowhere near what they actually offered through email, I wouldn't have wasted 2 hours on my Saturday to get offered over 5 thousands less than I was told, and 2000 less than I could drive down the street and get offered. What a joke. Don't bother trying to sell a car to these guys, they just want you in the door so they can low-ball you a ridiculous offer. Thanks for wasting my time. More
I HAD A SERVICE APPOINTMENT ON TUES APRIL 15TH. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AN OIL CHANGE, AND A MULTI-POINT INSPECTION IS SUPPOSED TO BE DONE ALONG WITH THE OIL CHANGE AND THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO SEND A VID IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AN OIL CHANGE, AND A MULTI-POINT INSPECTION IS SUPPOSED TO BE DONE ALONG WITH THE OIL CHANGE AND THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO SEND A VIDEO OF UR SERVICE. I NEVER RECEIVED A VIDEO, BUT WAS TOLD BY THE "ASSISTANT MANAGER" OF THE SERVICE DEPT BRANDON JONES THAT I WOULD RECEIVE MY VIDEO THE VERY NEXT DAY, HOWEVER I NEVER RECEIVED A VIDEO BECAUSE NO FOOTAGE WAS EVER DONE. I WAS ALSO LIED TO BY THE "MANAGER" OF SERVICE, ARIC TAYLOR AND TOLD "U WILL DEFINITELY GET YOUR VIDEO" WHEN HE KNEW ALL ALONG THAT NO FOOTAGE WAS DONE. WHICH MAKES ME WONDER IF MY OIL CHANGE WAS EVEN DONE. AT MY LAST APPOINTMENT BEFORE THIS ONE, THEY DID NOT PERFORM MY TIRE ROTATION LIKE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO AND THAT VIDEO PROVED IT. THIS IS WHY ITS HIGHLY PROBABLE THAT THEY DIDN'T DO MY SERVICE THIS TIME. I BROUGHT MY CAR BACK AFTER THAT INCIDENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT, BUT I WILL WARN U DO NOT TAKE UR CAR TO ADVANTAGE TOYOTA RIVER OAKS FOR SERVICE! DO NOT TRUST THE "MANAGER" OF THE SERVICE DEPT ARIC TAYLOR AND DEFINITELY DO NOT TRUST THE "ASSISTANT MANAGER" BRANDON JONES. THEY ARE BOTH BLATANT LIARS. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR VEHICLE, YOU WORK TOO HARD FOR IT! THIS SERVICE DEPT DOES NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS. I APPRECIATE HOWEVER, THE ASSISTANCE OF MO IBRAHIM. More
