Vehicle is being held hostage I received a notice from Ford that my vehicle had been recalled. I called Akins to schedule an appointment and I was told the part would need to be ordered. When the part arrived I got a call to set up the appointment. When I dropped my vehicle off the service advisor was friendly and courteous. I was told it may take a couple days to complete the job. A few days later I had not heard anything, so I called to check on the status and was told it would be ready Saturday or Monday. By Tuesday I still did not hear back, so I called again and was told the job was half finished. I asked if the vehicle was being worked on consistently and I was told that they took people who came in for work and waited at the service center first. Basically, I made an appointment only to take a backseat to anyone who unexpectedly shows up for service. This makes absolutely NO sense. The job should have taken one day, not weeks. I do not blame the service advisor that I worked with. She was trying to get the work finished, but having someone bring their vehicle in only to have it sit is ridiculous. Though I had a positive experience with the purchase of the vehicle, I doubt I will be a return customer because of their follow-up service. More

They are working on it now for the fourth time and Chris Akin the General Manager refuses to buy it back. It has gotten me in trouble at my job as I have had to call out for repairs. I took a short vacation with my family and was forced to use a loaner vehicle instead of driving in my new truck which would have been much more comfortable than the budget car. When buying a new f150 make sure to look at the transmission gear changes on the dash and make sure that 2nd gear engages when the vehicle shifts down. I was told by one of the service people that the computers have been programmed to skip second gear because of some rough shifting issues that no one ever told me about before I bought the truck. More
My husband and I purchased a brand new 2013 Jeep Wrangler earlier this year. We had a great buying expirence until it started to rain. Yes it is still unwarrenty but they still havent fixed my problem. I am getting sick and tired of every day I get off to have to call make sure they have a loaner car before I can bring my vehicle in. This has been the worst nightmare ever! I am tired of going back and forth with the dealership, service department and managers about my problem vehicle. Had I known this would have happened I would have never traded in my brand new Mazda! I am so miserable with our vehicle this is getting ridiculous! No one wants to help. No one knows why it keeps leaking. No one understand the frustration I am going through with this car. Next time I wont buy any Ford, Chystler, Jeep product! This is why I am not giving this review good scores. They need to address the problem and fix it not wait on the 5th time! More
