Sync Problem-GPS loses satellite Our CMAX's Sync system would periodically lose its satellite connection. The map would wander or go dark, GPS indicated "searching for satellite." After a very thorough examination, it was seen that the system was up to date, no known issues were found (with Sync.) It was found that the system was set to auto-update. This, it was stated to me, could possibly cause the problem if there was an update while driving, the system would be interrupted. . This seems logical. The recommendation was to turn off auto-update, which has been done. It is now to be monitored for a problem reoccurrence. The recommendation seems reasonable, so we will monitor to see what now happens. The technical folks were thorough and reviewed the situation carefully. More
