This was just a minor incident that occurred, and Albany Subaru came to my rescue! Somebody stole the wiper blade off of my rear windshield wiper! I only noticed it during the rainstorm in Berkeley/Albany/E Subaru came to my rescue! Somebody stole the wiper blade off of my rear windshield wiper! I only noticed it during the rainstorm in Berkeley/Albany/El Cerrito last week. It might have happened awhile ago...or maybe just when it started raining. BUT.... I called Albany Subaru, it was almost 6:00 pm on a Thursday, they said "Come on in!" I was in the neighborhood, I drove in, a service salesperson walked me over to the parts desk, they had the right wiper blade, the salesperson immediately installed it on my rear wiper, and I paid $23 for the part, and $0 for the "labor." It was a totally pleasant experience, which took a total of about 10 minutes, including some friendly banter about what the world is coming to when you can get your wiper blade stolen in a rainstorm! This is really memorable great service from Albany Subaru that makes me smile even thinking about it! Kind of a throwback to an earlier time, when you could ask for help from a local business and get it...fast! More
