The service department layout is somewhat confusing, with the service desk in what feels like the service bay but what I believe is actually showroom space. About picking up my vehicle... My Genesis GV80 was in for a ding and scratch on a passenger door that happened when the vehicle was in for a warranty repair on my folding mirrors. I am grateful for the center taking care of both issues so I don't feel like I have much room to complain. However, I was disappointed to find my car had not been washed. Moreover, I found so many crumbs in the passenger seat— clearly snacks from the customer lounge. Also, 25 miles has been put on my vehicle. I don't know how far it is to the body shop Genesis uses, but 25 miles seems excessive especially since no test drive would be required for bodywork. I sensed my vehicle was taken for a two-person joyride. When I accepted the vehicle, I did not look in it, and the service manager walked away, and I went into the facility to use the restroom. I sat in my car for approximately ten minutes deciding whether to mention my concerns. Feeling somewhat defeated while feeling grateful for the warranty service. I chose not to mention anything. What could be done anyway? Thanks you! More
