Most "Painless" Car Purchase in 60 years Surfing the web I found the car I wanted so I emailed the dealer thinking I would hear from them Monday. Within a hour, I received an email from a salesman telling me to call him if I wanted additional info on the car. This was Sunday and the dealership was closed. Now this guy really wants to sell a car. I called him Monday and the first thing I told him was the reason I was doing this by phone was because of the positive comments on their web site. He said he understood. The pictures of the car were great and I made a offer and after a little more discussion we agreed on a price. Of course I would need to drive 250 miles to see and approve of the car to close the deal. My wife and I rented a car and drove from Jacksonville to St. Petersburg Fl. When we arrived at the dealer, we were greeted by the salesman, Nick Gruse, and on the showroom floor was this beautiful red Jaguar with a big bow on the hood. The car was ready for a drive and after the drive we closed the deal. The paper work had been completed prior to our arrival and it took longer to transfer our luggage than it did to do the paperwork. In 60 years of buying and selling cars this was the most stress free purchase I have ever made. My wife would rather have teeth pulled than go with me to buy a car and even she was impressed with the efficiency of the sales force. He was very professional, polite and answered all my questions with knowledge. After we settled on a price, we met Matt Brown, the business manager, who had everything already pre-printed for a very easy settlement session. It took less than 35 minutes, whereas, our other experiences with previous dealers took hours to purchase a vehicle. Robbie toured us around this new dealership and it was very obvious that they take great pride in a very clean facility. Their car maintenance bays were as clean as possible and neatly organized.
