After bringing in our vehicle, we had 2 weeks of no communication from the service department. When we finally heard from the them, it took another week before our vehicle was fixed. When I called to make an appt for the recall service I was told the part was available, and it would take just a day. But when I dropped the car off the guy there said he didn’t know if they had the part was told the part was available, and it would take just a day. Then they proceeded to try and sell me all sorts of “fixes” I needed. Never called me with updates as they said, I had to call them. No offer of a loaner for keeping it longer than promised, no wash. Told me to ask a friend for a ride. Come on. More

It took $250 and two weeks for dealership to take first step of assessment of my Volt - then wanted another $250 to take next step - teardown diagnosis - with no assurance that they can determine what the step of assessment of my Volt - then wanted another $250 to take next step - teardown diagnosis - with no assurance that they can determine what the issue is or if it would be covered by warranty - this is a car with 90k miles which is running fine but seems to be reaching the end of it life as I don’t want to chase a problem they can’t seem to assess without wanting more and more money hoping they can diagnose why the check engine light is on - let alone informing me of the actual cost to fix it - frustrating and not building confidence in a life long Chevy owner/fan. More
