My name is Steven Abbott and I set out on a mission to buy a car on Dec 3, 2013 either used or new depending on what I could find. I really wanted a new car since I have only had 1 new car in my lifetime buy a car on Dec 3, 2013 either used or new depending on what I could find. I really wanted a new car since I have only had 1 new car in my lifetime and that was in 1983, but I could only keep it for 2 years because when I moved to Pensacola in 1985, I couldn't afford to keep it so I had to trade it in on a used one. So I was driving a 2002 Ford pickup and am planning a long drive up to WV to be with my family for Christmas, so instead of renting a 4WD or AWD SUV or something that would do well in the snow, I decided that day I was going to go and buy me a car. I had done all my research on consumer reports, google, etc. and I had picked out 4 vehicles I planned to look at that day. My first stop was Honda and I test drove a Honda CRV fully loaded and truly like the car but they didn't have my favorite color to order it in, but they did have a new pretty Mountain Air Blue/Green color they could get me one in from another dealer ASAP. But, my mission was to test drive and look at all 4 vehicles I had researched and thought I wanted to look at. The next place I visited was the Hyundai dealership because I have always liked the Santa Fe's and I have seen the orange color Santa Fe's around town, so I was hoping they would have one. My next stops were supposed to be to look at the KIA Sorrento and the Subaru Outback or Forrester. As I pulled into the parking lot, I looked around and didn't see any Orange Santa Fe's so I was immediately disappointed but parked and got out anyway because I at least wanted to look at them and test drive one. As soon as I stepped out of my car, a salesman name Troy Cox greeted me with a very warm smile and a handshake. I told him about my mission right away and I even mentioned the Honda I have found and where I planned to go next after there, but he insisted he could find me what I wanted. When I told him I couldn't see an orange Santa Fe on the lot where I was located, he said he thought he had exactly what I was looking for. And it was a new 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport FWD 2.0T and it was the only one like it on the lot and just so happend to be my favorite color of orange, so when he showed it to me he said "you won't need to go to KIA or SUBARU after looking at the car he showed me because he knew he could convince me into buying this car and not looking any more. And that was what happened. He took me for a test drive with my life parter Joseph, who also LOVED it almost as much as I did and Troy was so convincing and nice and the best car salesman I have ever worked with over the years that I bought it right on the spot and Troy was right when he said "I won't need to look any further at KIA OR SUBARU because I will love this car and it was went for me to have it because it is exactly what I was looking for and he will give me the best deal in town and even give me a fair price on my trade-in" and that is exactly what happend. I bought the car and was so excited as ever. And the finance guy Matt was super nice and very friendly too. He explained everything in detail just like Troy did with the car. I was SO SATISFIED and HAPPY to have another new car in my lifetime. All my family and friends love it and I had one friend tell me that they knew someone who was in a really bad accident recently in a car just like mine and the air bags saved their lives. It was also surprising and the first time this has ever happend to me, but the owner of the company, Allen Turner, came in and spoke with me and shook my hand to congratulate me and inform me of the continuing service I will receive from him personally and the dealership with the service on my new car and how much I will enjoy it and what a beautiful and unique car I just bought. That also meant a lot to me. So today, I am taking "PENNY" in for my outside and inside detail warranty workmanship and can't wait to go back and pick her up. I named her "PENNY" after my first dog, the first color of my car was orange and my favorite color, and the color on my new car is COPPER, so the perfect choice to name my car is PENNY. So that is the story of my car purchase and the best purchase I have ever made in a vehicle. More
I have worked with Jason since 2005 while he was at Sandy Sansing. He has always been very detailed in checking the notes, thoughtful in his tasks, and always tries to get me the best deal out there. I feel like an appreciated customer given valued services. He consistently makes sure the tasks that I ask are completed, and done properly in an efficient manner. (I can't say the same about other service consultants in the area.) This makes me confident I am going to the most knowledgeable and efficient place to get my Hyundai Sonata serviced. Although service competitors may be cheaper, the inconvenience of having to take time off of work/family to sit and have my car serviced is worth the extra money of going to Allen Turner and be given a loaner to go about my day. As a single, working full-time mom that gets 1 hour lunch breaks to deal with this maintenance, I believe Allen Turner provides the service that can adapt to my lifestyle and schedule. Casey and Shahid had great attitudes. They made my wife and myself feel very comfortable without all of that unnessary pressure. He found me the perfect vehicle and even though it was out of my price range he work at getting me the best deal told him what I wanted in a vehicle. I first contacted Alan Turner Hyundai through the website. I picked the car I wanted to look at and gave my specifics on price of the vehicle and payments I could handle. I was contacted by Dave P website. I picked the car I wanted to look at and gave my specifics on price of the vehicle and payments I could handle. I was contacted by Dave Purdon and was completely impressed with his knowledge and understanding of what I wanted and my financial situation. I immediately felt comfortable with him and the information he supplied. After a few conversations, I came into the dealership on Saturday and the Hyundai I had picked was parked out front and I drove and tested the car. I was trading in a 2011 Hyundai and was completely satisfied with the trade-in amount they allowed for my car. The rest of the day went smoothly and before I knew it I was driving out the lot with the car I wanted. I never felt pressured by Mr. Purdon or Mr. Haymon in anyway. The car and the financing was explained to me in detail and I appreciated the time they took with me in doing so. I was also impressed with the entire dealership as a whole from the employees, the waiting area and the cleanliness of the restroom. I would most definitely recommend your dealership to anyone who wants a fair, truthful car buying experience. And I would make sure and tell them to go to Dave Purdon, he will give them a great deal. I dealt with David Purdon who was a delight in every way to deal with. I expressed interest in a new Santa Fe a few months ago and then had many things to delay me being able to get to Pensacola to car sho to deal with. I expressed interest in a new Santa Fe a few months ago and then had many things to delay me being able to get to Pensacola to car shop, but David was completely understanding...he never pressured me, but never forgot me. I finally got over on Monday, told him exactly what I wanted, we drove the 13 model of the Santa Fe that I was interested in, they drove my car, made me a price, and I ended up buying a 2014 model of the car I wanted. I couldn't get back to Pensacola to pick up my car because of an injury to my elbow and upcoming travel plans so David delivered my car to me at home on Wednesday. It was a totally non pressure experience and certainly a happy new owner of my second purchase of a Santa Fe from Allen Turner. Thank you David, and everyone that helped with my purchase.
