I first contacted Alan Turner Hyundai through the website. I picked the car I wanted to look at and gave my specifics on price of the vehicle and payments I could handle. I was contacted by Dave Purdon and was completely impressed with his knowledge and understanding of what I wanted and my financial situation. I immediately felt comfortable with him and the information he supplied. After a few conversations, I came into the dealership on Saturday and the Hyundai I had picked was parked out front and I drove and tested the car. I was trading in a 2011 Hyundai and was completely satisfied with the trade-in amount they allowed for my car. The rest of the day went smoothly and before I knew it I was driving out the lot with the car I wanted. I never felt pressured by Mr. Purdon or Mr. Haymon in anyway. The car and the financing was explained to me in detail and I appreciated the time they took with me in doing so. I was also impressed with the entire dealership as a whole from the employees, the waiting area and the cleanliness of the restroom. I would most definitely recommend your dealership to anyone who wants a fair, truthful car buying experience. And I would make sure and tell them to go to Dave Purdon, he will give them a great deal. I dealt with David Purdon who was a delight in every way to deal with. I expressed interest in a new Santa Fe a few months ago and then had many things to delay me being able to get to Pensacola to car sho to deal with. I expressed interest in a new Santa Fe a few months ago and then had many things to delay me being able to get to Pensacola to car shop, but David was completely understanding...he never pressured me, but never forgot me. I finally got over on Monday, told him exactly what I wanted, we drove the 13 model of the Santa Fe that I was interested in, they drove my car, made me a price, and I ended up buying a 2014 model of the car I wanted. I couldn't get back to Pensacola to pick up my car because of an injury to my elbow and upcoming travel plans so David delivered my car to me at home on Wednesday. It was a totally non pressure experience and certainly a happy new owner of my second purchase of a Santa Fe from Allen Turner. Thank you David, and everyone that helped with my purchase. I went to the dealership to find a chevy traverse but they had just sold it the night before I came, I was a little bummed but he should 2 other SUVs that were about the same as a traverse. We had been looking for a newer model used car for one of our daughters. After looking online and at several dealerships around our area and Pensacola, my Daughter and Wife went to Allen Turner to test drive our daughters. One of them, our daughter really took a liking to (a Jeep Liberty) that was in excellent condition and was reasonably priced. The next day, I accompanied them to Allen Turner to see what they had driven and maybe try out a couple more. The sales staff was very helpful and was in no way pushy or going for the "hard sell" tactics we often encounter. We looked at a couple more vehicles but, our daughter's heart was set on the one she had picked out the day before. Glen Parker was our salesman and had worked with them the day before. We found him to be easy going, polite, curteous and reasonable when it came to dealing prices and figures when we got down to business. We drove the same vehicle again and then decided to see what we could strike-up for a deal. The process was very casual and straightforward with no hard sell involved. I kept waiting for the hard sell tactics to begin but, they never happened and that's more than fine with me. The sales manager's name escapes me at the moment but, he was equally as providing. In the financing dept. we were able to match our credit union intrest rate and save us even more time and money in the process. Everything was handled in a very efficient manner and with no pressure at all. The entire process was at least a couple of hours less than I have ever experienced whether buying new or used. Shahid and Glen were no doubt, the last 2 to get home that evening. We appreciate the all efforts they made to make things go smoothly for us. Thanks again, Glen and Shahid. The lack of pressure was a big plus and I'd recommend Allen Turner and his used car staff to anyone. The deal was made and they took care of us that evening staying over to do what was necessary to make the experience a great one for us. We live in Crestview and it was worth the drive. Before we test drove he explained the features of the Santa Fe and helped me compare those features to other models. Price discussion was short and I was offered a fair trade for my vehicle. No pressure tactics which was a plus. I came back the next day and bought the Santa Fe. No need to go anywhere else.
