Review of Ryan Benjaminson and Anchor Nissan Our first visit to Anchor Nissan because I'd heard many radio and TV commercials about the dealership. All the advertising was spot on!! We were loo Our first visit to Anchor Nissan because I'd heard many radio and TV commercials about the dealership. All the advertising was spot on!! We were looking for a used vehicle, had a number of makes/models in mind, options required, and price point. We met with Ryan Benjaminson who listened to our requirements, gave us honest advice about finding a vehicle that would meet them all, then directed us to a 2015 Nissan Rogue that was in exactly the shape we were looking for. Allowed us to test drive it and explained many of the options that it came with... being used we knew we wouldn't be able to choose options... but the Rogue he showed us met them all and then some. Ryan simply listened to our needs and wants and connected us with what we were looking for with some added information on the Rogue, Anchor's commitment to customer satisfaction, and did so in a comfortable conversation. At no time did we feel pressured or that he was trying to move a vehicle regardless of our requirements. It was simply the best experience we've had in purchasing a vehicle. If you're in the market for a new or pre-owned car, look up Ryan. You'll be happy you did More
Great Experience I feel there’s a stigma in today’s society against salesmen, especially car salesmen. I think a lot of people forget that they have a job just like t I feel there’s a stigma in today’s society against salesmen, especially car salesmen. I think a lot of people forget that they have a job just like the rest of us. That being said, I imagine as a salesman, it’s hard to gain the trust of people in a relatively short amount of time when their guard is constantly up. I feel that behavior is wasted. I had the ole proverbial “bad experience” buying cars, but I didn’t let that inform my decision on ALL salespeople. Now, I make sure I’m prepared and go in with an open mind and try to treat everyone with respect. I write all this because I wanted to share my experience with Ryan Benjaminsen from Anchor Nissan. Ryan was the first to greet me at the door and was ultimately the gentleman that was there to help my wife and me in purchasing our new vehicle. I had made an appointment to see and test drive a used vehicle they had on the lot. Anchor had already pulled the keys out and was ready for me when I arrived (that was a big win in my book). Ryan was successful in making a human connection with me and was very helpful and forthright in explaining everything that was going on (explaining a dead battery to a potential customer must not have been easy). I feel most of the time the salesmen are just the middlemen between the sales manager and the buyer, the glue that is trying to seal the deal. This can be a difficult position especially when you have a buyer that has this misconception that everyone is out to get them. While I wasn’t 100% satisfied in my trade in worth, I understand that the car wasn’t going to be staying on their lot and that they are trying to recoup cost at auction. I feel Ryan was patient in explaining this and I never felt pressured into any deal. This again was a win in my book. The final step was setting up an appointment to take delivery of my new vehicle. Ryan had coordinated a time with the financial officer and me to minimize any unnecessary waiting around. These small details and Ryan’s enthusiasm for his job is what would lend me to say I would recommend my friends and family to visit Anchor Nissan or more importantly set up a time to work with Ryan when purchasing a new or used vehicle.
