Bob Benoit, Owner = Rude and offensive Actually, if I could minus a star, I certainly would. This morning I was accompanying someone to drop off their car at this dealership. The car had been towed from a vacation spot in Maine, and was on a trailer being towed by a u-haul truck. While we were in the yard and the driver was trying to back up the truck so the car could come off the trailer and be put in a spot. We were confronted by Bob Benoit (HE EXPLAINED TO US THAT HE OWNED THE LAND THAT WE WERE ON, AND WE WERE IN HIS WAY)!! The transmission had failed on the Nissan Murano that was on the car trailer, so we were going to have to push it into a spot. Six of us were there and we gathered along w/Bob and at least 6 other people, guessing that they were employees of the business. He continued to shout at us, saying, "I don't care about your business. Get the car off my property if you don't like my attitude. I have a business that I have to open up and you are in my way!" He even told my brother-in-law to go F himself. (his tirade took longer than it would have taken to drop the car) Bob never spoke to us, he only yelled. We were there to drop off a vehicle and schedule $5000.00 in repairs. I have lived in North Smithfield all of my life and doing business locally is important to me. We did not leave the car at Anchor, nor will we do business with this dealer ever. If the OWNER opens his business by shouting at the first customers he sees in the morning, who would expect this would be a good place to do business? More
THE DEARLER WAS GREAT. NO PRESSURE DEALER WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL/ THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL. Always a great experience. Just bought my 4th carfrom Anchor I found Anchor Nissan when I bought my first Nissan there in 2012. Since then I have bought four cars their! New lease I have been leasing Nissans from Anchor for 5 years but today they went above & beyond. I will be moving to Florida in September & my lease is up befo I have been leasing Nissans from Anchor for 5 years but today they went above & beyond. I will be moving to Florida in September & my lease is up before I move. I thought I would have to get my new car there but Sean & his manager assured me that they could register the new car in Florida here. They also arranged for the car to be shipped. Not only did they work with me on the lease payment but also helped with the shipping cost. I can't say enough about how effortlessly & respectfully the whole transaction was handled. I would highly recommend Anchor & Sean Bernier for anyone looking to buy or lease a Nissan. Sean also researched cars to make sure I was getting the car I wanted. More

Wonderful experience I went to Anchor Nissan for service on my old Nissan. I now have a new vehicle (used) vehicle and I love it. I was helped by Sean Bernier and his sale I went to Anchor Nissan for service on my old Nissan. I now have a new vehicle (used) vehicle and I love it. A Breath of Fresh Air To begin, let me say that working with the folks at Anchor Nissan was the anomaly of our car shopping experience, which began with pulling into the lo To begin, let me say that working with the folks at Anchor Nissan was the anomaly of our car shopping experience, which began with pulling into the lot and NOT getting hounded by salesmen. It wasn't until we walked into the building that we were greeted with a smiling and welcoming young man, named Sean. We told him what we wanted, and he responded quickly, communicated clearly, and was there as support and a resource to answer our questions, as needed. In previous experiences at competing dealerships, we had to wait through history lessons and useless niceties before we could test drive a car; sit through shady discussions about pricing on vehicles while being treated like we were stupid; but here at Anchor, every step of the way was handled respectfully, quickly without being rushed, fairly and transparently. Sean not only demonstrated how incredibly knowledgeable he was about Nissans, but also some competing vehicles in the same class, which allowed us to make a solid comparison and an educated decision. He wasn't wordy, pushy, corny, or any other adjective that one might use to describe a car salesman. In fact, we had fun and laughed and smiled the entire time, solely due to Sean and his charming and human interaction. I would go out of my way to work with Sean again on future purchases. He even took additional time to understand what we were looking for in terms of features, colors, mileage and pricing, and brought some vehicles to our attention that we weren't aware that they had - all while suggesting we sit in the air-conditioned car while he ran around the lot in the heat. It is also worth noting that Mike, the sales manager, and Eric, the finance manager were also great to work with. Mike took the time to work to get us a great deal, while remaining transparent and fair during the process. Upon returning to pick up our newly purchased vehicle, we were also able to meet one of the owners, Brian, who made time to ask us about our experience and share a few smiles and stories. As a result of the entire experience, Anchor Nissan has now gained loyal service customers in addition to winning our business on the vehicle! I would happily recommend these gentlemen to my friends and family, and can say that it was truly a pleasure. Thank you to the whole team! More
