Stay away!!! I went to anchor for an oil change. After two hours of waiting they call me up and tell me my hood was broken and they don't have the part to fix it. I went to anchor for an oil change. After two hours of waiting they call me up and tell me my hood was broken and they don't have the part to fix it. My hood worked correctly before the service. My oil change was supposed to be synthetic and they gave me regular. The service manager told me I don't know how to use the online service selection. I still have the email to this day that shows I chose synthetic so telling me that it was my mistake was disrespectful and unprofessional. I proceeded to walk out of the dealership and the same service manager chases me outside, screaming "Don't go anywhere, you owe me money!". I tell him he is a moron and hold up the payment receipt in my hand. One of the Benoit owners came out the side door at that time, told his manager that's enough, and told me I could talk to him about what was happening. I declined because I would absolutely never entrust Anchor with my Subaru for an oil change, or any work, ever again. In the following weeks I was called two separate occasions and was asked about the instance. Both times I was apologized to, told a supervisor would be told, and I would receive a call shortly. I have never again been contacted, except via email for sales and service promotions. I wrote Anchor an email stating leave me alone and I will never do business with them again. The sales emails keep coming in, which is what has prompted me to share my horrendous experience. So from top to bottom, the shop, the service manager, the customer service, my experiences with each aspect were the most unprofessional, disrespectful, and dare I say deceitful, experiences I have received from any business in my life. More
Extremely Helpful - Thank You! I am from Montreal, Canada and I was visiting Rhode Island the first weekend of November. This was a 400 mile trip for me and my family. About half way through, we pulled over to a rest area and realized that the front passenger side floor was flooded with water, however we decided to go on to our destination in Providence RI. On the morning of Saturday the 7th of November i found the Anchor Subaru dealership online and brought in my car. The service department was busy, nonetheless I explained my situation and they decided to have a look at my vehicle. Within the hour they had finished with my car (Subaru Outback 2012 ) and told me the AC drain was clogged up and they drained it for me. Me and my spouse were very warmly greeted and the job was done courtesy of ANCHOR SUBARU. I am extremely grateful to all the staff at Anchor Subaru for their service and kindness for someone far away from home. I would like to thank ANCHOR SUBARU and its staff for the assistance they provided me with and underline the value they provided through their good customer service and care. THANK YOU! Thieves I needed a RI Inspection sticker and went there with a Jeep. The license plate frame from the Jeep dealer I bought my car from was stolen off my car a I needed a RI Inspection sticker and went there with a Jeep. I went in for an Inspection Sticker only - not to have my property stolen! You should be ashamed of yourselves- do not give them your business. More
Sleeze move I did not buy my Subaru from this dealer but I took it there for an oil change. Very Poor Customer Service I used the online site to make an appointment for for service. The site said that a service advisor would confirm my appt. within 24 hours. Finally I called them and made the appt. They hadn't even read the information on the appointment site. I asked if I could leave my car at night for service the next day. I was told to leave it outside the fence near the new stone wall and to leave the keys in the Lockbox. Since I work 2nd shift, I was leaving the car at 12 midnight. The next day, I called at 3 PM to see if the car was done and they said" Did you leave your car here?" I asked if they looked for the keys in the lockbox and they said "No, we don't look in that everyday." So at 3 PM, they started working on my car... Why have a lockbox for after hours dropoff if you're not going to open it up everyday. More
Sweet I have had an association with this dealership for the last seven years through the service department. When it came time to consider a new vehicle, t I have had an association with this dealership for the last seven years through the service department. When it came time to consider a new vehicle, they made the process simple and enjoyable. Mike, my service consultant introduced me to Shar Chauvin who made the process easy. He was very accomadating, informative, and paid great attention to details. I was in a new 2015 Forrester in four days, which is great considering that the car had to be brought in from another dealership. Follow up from Shar, as well as the rest of the Anchor team has been over the top. I would not hesitate to recommend Shar or Anchor to anyone interested in a new vehicle. And as for Subaru, the can't ask for a better car. They are the most reliable vehicles that I have ever owned. This is my second Forester and my wife drives an Impreza. We are both pleased with Subaru for their safe and reliable vehicles. More

I bought my Subaru Legacy 2011 and have had Anchor service it. Oil changes, tires rotated etc. My experience with the service dept. has always been very good. They take my car on time that it was sche service it. Oil changes, tires rotated etc. My experience with the service dept. has always been very good. They take my car on time that it was scheduled, explain to me what they will do and about how long it will take; along with a car wash which is a nice touch. Jorge who sold me the car has always been gracious in answering questions about my car since I have owned it. Like why does the blue water temp light stay on, or how do I change the clock time since I have navigation . All in all, purchasing my Subaru from Anchor has been a very good experience. JP. More
Purchasing my '06 Outback last February was a great experience. The help I've received from my salesman Gladimer and his mgr. Jimmy have been awesome after the sale. They were instrumental in my having the work performed on this visit on my sunroof, which went out less than 2 months after I purchased it pre-owned. They honored the price, when I came back months later, when I could afford the repair. This is my first Subaru and it won't be my last from Anchor! My fiancee Deb will be in to look when she is ready to trade in her '09 Mitsubishi Outlander on a sporty new Subaru. Maybe a BRZ! We'll see! But she won't be ready for a while, yet. We have a wedding to finish planning and paying for over the next 13 months. More
