We took our truck in twice for an issue we were having and they said nothing was wrong and it was normal. They said the computer was not capturing any failures so there was nothing that could be done. The and they said nothing was wrong and it was normal. They said the computer was not capturing any failures so there was nothing that could be done. They were dismissive of our concerns because according to them they could not duplicate the issue. Either it was not driven or they didn’t bother comparing it to a similar one. This vehicle drives out of state every 3 weeks and we were worried about it breaking and wanted it fixed since it is under warranty. We took it to a different dealership and they were able to 1. Hear the sound we were referring to so we were right all along. 2. “Duplicate” the issue. 3. Escalate the issue 4. Replace the PART that was defective. 5. Corrected the issue we were having and rid the vehicle of the issues we were experiencing. Up until now everything is working perfectly thanks to that other dealership who actually listened to our concerns and didn’t dismiss the issues we brought up. So when someone says their vehicle is doing something it didn’t do before don’t tell them they are wrong. Maybe take some time and do a little digging, customers are patient if you give them the time of day. We will be doing all of our service through that dealership now even if it’s a little pricier because they worked with us and fixed the issue instead of saying “that’s just the way the truck works” and people who don’t ride in it regularly wouldn’t know that sound and resistance is normal!
