My husband and I have now bought 4 Hondas from Anderson Honda dating back to 2005. Most recently, we purchased a Honda CR-V Hybrid. Serge Valente made the whole thing easier than it has ever been. I went o Honda dating back to 2005. Most recently, we purchased a Honda CR-V Hybrid. Serge Valente made the whole thing easier than it has ever been. I went out to test drive one they had on the lot, and knew almost immediately it was what we were looking for. Serge went with me to give me a lot of information -- these new cars have a lot of new bells and whistles, so I was grateful! When we called to tell him we wanted the car, the one we test drove was sold! He immediately started looking for another one for us and found one the very next day. He sent us a link to the credit application and it was all done before we went in, making the in-store process so easy. We were able to get the car a little under MSRP, which is rare these days. The annual percentage rate was better than we had found from the banks and credit unions we checked so we financed through Honda Financial. The contractual part went very smoothly and took less than 30 minutes. The longest part of the process was taking us out to our new car to show us everything we needed to know to drive it home, plus some. I highly recommend Anderson Honda for your Honda purchase! More
Mike Kniskern is a terrible finance manager - hands down, disrespectful. Everyone else at the dealership is a sweetheart, but Mike left me with a sour taste of Anderson Honda. Priced over blue book value. Shop around everyone, always know the mileage, vin, year, make, & model. I was interested in a new civic si that I saw on their website which showed price to be around 27K. Sales person called and explained that in addition to MSRP that appears, there were all sorts of add-on website which showed price to be around 27K. Sales person called and explained that in addition to MSRP that appears, there were all sorts of add-ons that brought the real price to 34K! “Would you like to come see it anyway?” No was my reply.Please note I don’t hold the misleading web site information against the sales person who seemed seriously interested in helping me. Recent experience after purchasing a used Honda with the title. Two liens. Mine and the prior owner according to MVA. Dealer claims not their issue and offers no solutions. Worst experience I have ever experienced from the sale and finance team. Purchased Honda Accord for my son at the online quoted price, which was solid but everything has been downhill from there. Sale staff was very unfriendly when we showed up at the dealership, it almost seemed that they do not want to sell us the car. Currently dealing with the finance person, Dustin, regarding the $500 recent graduate incentive for my son, claimed it was rejected by Honda Financial Service. I have had to call Honda Financial twice. First time, I was told to inform him to resubmit it and the second time (after a two week interval) that it was approved. Dustin still claimed it was rejected, was very unprofessional and rude on the phone and threatened to withhold my tags. Requested to speak to a manager several times but no call back yet. Very bad customer service. More
The service center has gone downhill over the past year. I sat in my vehicle inside the receiving bay for 20 minutes before a server provider acknowledged me. I had an appointment, but they were overbooked and were unable to service my vehicle even though I booked my service a week in advance. After discussing my concerns, the service manager asked about the problem I was in for. We drove around the parking lot so that he could hear the noise. He informed me that he would reschedule me for the following week. However, he did not ever reschedule me. I received an automated notice that I missed my appointment even though I was there as scheduled and turned away. This was the second time I had attempted to have my issue addressed. The first visit, they claimed they did not notice a problem. I will be looking for a different Honda service going forward. More
