Alternator went up while driving but was able to make it to the dealer. Vehicle was looked at immediately. After diagnosis it was determined the alternator had to be replaced. The estimate was very high but after some investigation I found out this was a big job on this vehicle. The work was completed the next morning for the price quoted.
